Ayyo.. We have been listening to this statement for the last 40 years -- Ultimately MONEY is only the attraction -- Even IAS is losing steam now and UPSC pass- out and prefers IRS so that steady corruption income comes ( Read INCOME TAX ). In the 1970s, IFS was in demand as Foreign service was considered to be great - NOW no one wants IFS and become Ammasaador in Somalia. And the general public has started exploring the world and hence foreign means nothing nowadays. Even in Medicine Dharmatology / cosmetic surgery has more attraction as that fetches a lot of money - A dentist who is not even a doctor earns more money than MBBS MD doctors. Ultimately money is the destination - Nothing more nothing less. Most of IITcians join investment Banking in USA and make millions of dollars wasting their technical qualification and come to university and preach
