My only fault with James is that he did not express how disappointed he was with their relationship. It seems like he did everything for her in the beginning and he flipped the script and she ended up doing everything for him. Instead of leading her on at this point, he should have just walked away and not bragged to friends and even strangers. The FL was a beauty that was used to getting things her way. But it seems as if she managed to find the same type of man who was willing to do everything for her. If the new husband is fine with it, then ok. But obviously James wasn’t and handled things incorrectly, which didn’t end well for him.
David's parent apparently really, really, really wanted a son. Either that or they hated her. 😅 This may have also been the real reason James didn't want to marry her. He didn't want anyone to think he was gay by marring someone named David.
FL was quite decisive. Her whole focus shifted from her broken relationship to her personal development and career. As usual in these stories, the former BF woke up, realized what he had lost, and sought reconciliation. FL was able to turn his own words against him, shutting him down. Success and happiness await her with a thriving career and devoted husband by her side.
