I can still remember the first place I spawned back in 2011... It was a small cave, with an opening at the top, exiting the cave and having the soundtrack play... Hits me right in the feels...
i rember the first time I played to. I didn't know that the nether even existed!!! until my friend told me but when I first got the game it didn't even have the nether only PC did.
These songs... everyone says they remind them of the old days of Minecraft, or the first time they played. And I fully agree. But the songs make me think of more than that. They make me think of me, in a huge world, a huge planet, all on my own. In the entire world of cows, pigs, chickens and other wild creatures, I'm the only human. It's just me. And as I look into the horizon, I see huge mountains in the distance. I see lakes cutting through the grasslands. I see endless planes of grass and flowers. I see waterfalls and jungles. I see the beautiful nature of the world, and I start to wonder about all of the mysteries that is out there somewhere. I start to wonder if... there maybe are other people out there, in the big, infinite world, somewhere.... These are, hands down, the best video game music pieces ever, and possibly also the best relaxation music ever created (at least in my eyes). Minecraft is awesome.

Ikr! I always look in into the moon or the sun and I always get a tear in my eye. I get a pig (because pigs are cool and they look sad too) and stare nor the moon and sun. I miss when it's was a survival world that all your friends played on. Nowadays, it's all mineplex. As fun as it sounds, I just miss youtubers playing normal survival. Oh well, gonna be like this I guess. It's still ok but the Xbox is the only serverless version and that's why I like to play it. Have a good day
I loved the early days of minecraft. It had this weird allure to it. It was simplistic. It was kind of like an escape from the overly complicated world. You got to go to a place were your only limits were build height, bedrock, and your imagination. You actually had to worry about monsters getting in your house. You felt creeped out because there was no one else around but monsters, and that left you wondering if everyone became the monsters. The day felt surprisingly peaceful, while the night felt utterly terrifying. And redstone was barely a thing. That made you feel like what ever happened, reduced your world back to colonial age technology. It was just someplace to escape the real world. Then they added villagers, bosses, potions, more redstone, new ores, new blocks and mechanics, and then the appeal just went out the window. It was no longer a super simple escape from the real world, it just started becoming complicated.

This makes you think of the past and how much fun you had back then. It makes you think about how much fun you had when you first started playing the game. All the wonderment, all the excitement to find new things. But you dont realize how much you miss those times until you have grown older. When you have to leave those times behind no matter how painful it is to say goodbye to them. You wish that those times could have lasted forever. You wish that you could stay young. You wish that you could enjoy those times with your friends when you build your first dirt shack then you built your way to your first house. Those moments when you found your first diamonds. Those moments when you met lifelong friends. But even though you have to grow up and progress through your life, you will always have those memories. They can never be lost. Cherish them. Forever and always.
MrJMannMC I remember finding my first diamonds, so there was this dropdown into a lower level of this cave, and I went down and up again about 5 times before realizing that there was diamonds in an exposed corner that I never paid attention to before lol. I got either 5 diamonds or 1 diamond (can't remember).
I remember me and my sister would play minecraft on the computer every Sunday afternoon after we had dinner. We both really connected when playing minecraft and it was so fun. Now she's at university we can't play it anymore and I barely see her and when she does visit all she does is sleep and phone her friends 😥 I miss the good ol' days.

To all the people who criticize Notch for selling the game to Microsoft and changing the game... both of those things are the best thing he could've done for the game. His heart wasn't in it anymore in the end, so selling the game to Microsoft was a good thing for the development of the game; a bigger team, more professionality, and quicker updates. Changing things about the game is a necessary part of games like these - if you don't innovate, update and keep pandering to all the nostalgic people your playerbase will die out and the game will fade away. You can always go back to earlier versions, but it's probably best that you realize it's not the older versions you're missing, it's the memories of your newbie experiences to the game, perhaps the communities/people you once associated with. Don't blame the game for your nostalgia. You miss the past, you don't miss the earlier versions.
Everyone acts like the game got worse. I disagree. Sure, the game got developed and changed a bit, but I think it is because we simply learned the game. Minecraft was the most amazing thing to me when I thought everything was dangerous and mysterious. But I think it lost its charm as we played more and found out everything about the game. Whether you stopped getting excited finding iron after 100 times, found out how to make every item or found out how to survive the once-frightening night, we simply lost the wonder that made Minecraft fun. I think it is like that with every game. I would give anything to play Minecraft, Kingdom Hearts or Zelda for the first time again. I think I am rambling on at this point. But I just want to say Minecraft didn't get worse or Microsoft ruined it, we simply outgrew it.
Well That is part of it how we just got too good at it but at the same time there are 2 big factors that ruined it the first one is servers! now if your a beta or alpha player you know old alpha and beta servers were not all about survival games and role playing and pvp! They were about the actual game and about survival and helping each other out and minecraft got way to big as well witch brought in lots of bad people to the game so servers are the first big reason that ruined minecraft and secondly the updates did ruin minecraft made the game too complex to advance minecraft is suppose to be simple and fun but its updates just keep screwing it up

Jorge Granados No. Minecraft back in Beta was far better than it is now. The world generation was awesome, beds were realistic (monsters could attack you while you were asleep if you slept in an unsafe place (for example outside of your house or inside of it when you left the door open) and the annoying message "You can't rest here, there are monsters nearby" didn't exist. Since there was no health regeneration you had to watch out not to take damage, but you could heal by eating wood (*food, darn typo), which was not stackable, though, so Minecraft was at least a little harder and a lot scarier back then. It was a lot more fun to build a house in order to survive the night, and not simply because that's what the game is about. Minecraft is turning more into a map making tool than an actual game, and that's not really what Notch had in mind when he made it.

mason lutz I know, but it still isn't the same. Almost all mods do no longer support beta versions, there are no beta servers and apart from Far Lands of Bust there are hardly any Beta Let's Plays. It's just not the same as it used to be. Oh, and of course all the sounds have also changed, even in the Beta versions, so the experience will not be the same. -_-

Piano 3 - Mice of Venus Reminds me of the first time I started playing Minecraft back in 1.7 - 1.8, way back in 2011. It was so simple, you had your basic survival materials and good redstone stuff, that's also when the hunger bar was introduced. I remember walking down the gravel roads in a medieval town and this song would play on rainy days when I walked with my dog. Good times.
I started my days on the PE version, then my friend told me that there was a version on the PC. We both used his friends account and boy did I have fun. Then the xbox version came out, I bought it right away and that's rlly where I got the love for this beautiful game. I spend most of my days on the PC version tho :/ MC is fucked up now.
Holy... listening to this soundtrack makes me think of the old days in 2009-10 when me and my friend were building a town and shops and mining. Back then you they didn't have mini-games and all you did was play by the name of the game Minecraft (You mined and crafted and built stuff) now they have factions and pvp and all sorts of things so if they are going to do this they might as well rename the game to Factiongames or something (You get it). I would do ANYTHING... to go back in time in 2010 and do the same stuff again. I listen to this to calm myself and to make me happy and let my imagination of the past go wild... I also missed Notch working at Mojang and secretly putting hidden features and I tried to find them. I loved the exiting news of new versions and what they brought but now they are coming up with stupid stuff because they are bored, for example (guardians) seriously?? They look like half of a guys insides of his balls with a tail on it... It's very sad that Notch left Mojang for good AND sold it to microsoft life he ditched us... I just had to put that there for people who are thinking the same thing to say it for them and for me
What stops you from mining and crafting and building a town now? Just because there are more options to those who are getting bored with doing the same stuff over and over doesnt mean you still cant do the regular survival stuff.
I found minecraft in late 2012, watching gameplays and looking at pictures of worlds and what it looked like.... never got to play it until mid 2013. I knew very little about it at the time. Then, I got to know it a little more, and now I am a minecraft expert. I didn't like how much it changed. I miss the old version.
Also, I first pirated Minecraft because I didn't want to pay during beta. I pirated it for the gameplay and to experience but hearing the music made me cough up the 15$.
This song puts this image in my head. I'm 88 years old (2090). My grandson comes and visits me with his father (my son). He asks me if there is anything to do for fun. I tell him I have some old board games in the basement he can bring up to play. He runs back upstairs. "Grandpa I found this." showing me a dusty green game case. I put on my glasses and blow the dust off. "I havnt seen this in..." I stop, eyes fixated on the front cover. "what is it grandpa?" "Come with me." We walk down to the basement, him guiding me down the stairs. I turn on my old flatscreen tv. "Wow your tv has wires?" "All the tvs used to have cables in them when I was your age. Sometimes we didn't even play online, we had to share a screen" "Share a screen?!" He says in amazement. "That must have been so annoying!" "Not as bad as you would think. Here let me show you" We play minecraft for hours and I watch as he plays for the first time. Similar joy I had experienced many years ago.
This music doesn't just remind me of old Minecraft, this makes me remember all of the breathtaking views in the mountains, the amazing sights of spherical caves in the ground, all of the amazing land generation, all blocky and cool, I think of more than everything. I think of things beyond every possibility. Minecraft is an amazing game, an adventurous story waiting to happen, a calm, creative sandbox. This music can remind me of more than Minecraft, this music reminds me of when I was really, really young, before I had bad anger problems. Before I had to take drugs. Before I couldn't sleep. I remember when I first got the game for the xbox 360, I would stay up all night in my world and eventually my xbox party would go from 6 to only me, and it was just myself and my thoughts alongside this calming, joyous music. Sometimes I would stay up so late and slowly drift off by just being idle and listening to this masterpiece.
I listened to the whole thing without stoping. I got chills and then I literally bursted into tears. I miss the old days. Going back to an early version when you have the new Minecraft, its just not the same...

I remember my sunset moment so vividly. It was like a week after I had started playing, and I had just built a short tower that went out my hole-in-the ground house. The sun was setting just as I was finishing, and Haggstorm was playing. When it hit the crescendo... at that moment it hit me: I was content. I had a bunch of diamonds, I had food, now I had my tower, I was safe from mobs, I had this and that and the music was so beautiful and the sun was so pretty, and awwww... I got hit in the feels so hard it hurt. I think I cried a little. Favorite song now is Piano 2 - Wet Hands.

I was in my first reversed. I had just finished baking my first cake, the sun was setting and I was ready to go to bed for the next day. Subwoofer Lullaby was ending just as I got in bed, right at the beautiful Minecradt sunset, and Calm 3 (Sweden) came on just as I woke up. Priceless, man... priceless.

However, chat restrictions were so fucked up, that things like "I'll" and saying someone's gamertag or even some of it was considered advertisement and swearing. It was like people couldn't even talk to each other. The only ones that could speak in full sentences were VIPs or higher, because they had "special privileges." Even private messaging had this dipshit restriction.

Mice of Venus baby. I remember back in 1.6.6 (I don't know why but that's when I met all my good friends,) we would play minecraft and make Mancaves and big houses (but ugly) and would thrive. Survival now feels empty, even though there's more to do and explore it feels...sad. The simplicity of the game has been destroyed and replaced with complexity. Which if you like, thumbs up ya, but I feel like the simplicity of the game is what made it so beautiful.

Multiplayer servers suck now. Too many minigame and faction servers. I miss servers that just had a massive town and everyone just built in an open plot and had no pvp. Those were the days. Today I can't find one server like that.

I LOVE IT IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I JUST STARTED TO PLAY MINECRAFT AGAIN, I MISS THE TIME WHEN I WAS A NOOB AND BUILDED DIRT HOUSES, i started 2012 August 1.4.6 that's when i first saw minecraft ahhh... the memories, i first started in creative mode and then i builded a base in a mountain with my cousin and my causin's cousins (lol) and i would hide because of the monsters, back then i was so scared of the caves now i would go in there everytime, and when 2013 came i got minecraft on my computer and started playing, spawned in the water and i killed some squids (lol i didn't know who was sky back then i just went for it) there was no land exept little sand hills and i got some ink and i tried to eat it and it didn't let me + i didn't know how to eat. SO I MAKE A NEW WORLD.... I was on land and found my first village, started breaking every single block just because i wanted it even i broke the glass and stone and got nothing i started raging omg, i loved that moment, so i make a dirt house, started mining with my hand, and i made a house with 4 floors but still "DIRT" so the night comes up and i saw my first enderman and hear his awful screams i started looking at the cornet. OMG THERE'S ALLOT TO TELL BUT WHEN I GET A PROFESSIONAL MIC I'LL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF THIS.

I got Minecraft PE the day it came out in the early days.... No spawn eggs, water/lava buckets. Only four mobs creepers, zombies, skeletons, cows, sheep, pigs chickens. No skins, online multiplayer. No villages or temples. No nether. So basic but so fun. The joy that came when i spawned in my first world. I spent 15 minutes digging through a mountain! I built a hotel, with tunnels going to other buildings. Then they added spawn eggs, water/lava buckets, online multiplayer, skins, nether, so many mobs. Villages. Minecarts. I want to go back.
That part with the mountain and the hotel is allmost EXACTLY what i did on the PC back in 2010. [remembers first time ever playing mc] [crying internally]

I love calm 3 because its kind of a sad but hopeful song. It reminds me of when I was still kind of a noob and I had my first house on my first world which was just a house built over a cave systen that was popping up out of the ground. I would go mine when it was raining in minecraft with that song playing and mine until night when I would come out of the mine with it still raining outside and put my iron ore into my furnace and then go to bed with the sounds of spiders and zombies outside. I miss those times :')

Minecraft. There is a big story. All the way back from alpha and beta. The amazing calm music. When the sunrise comes up till it becomes night. The first block the fist house you build the fist mob you kill. And listening to the trans music brings us back. Good old minecraft back then. Minecraft is much more than a game to lots of people. It's like a 2nd life. Notch created the greatest game that 1/8 of the world plays it. They have new music now that for recent players will remember but if you truly had minecraft way back in beta then this should effect you in some way. I know it does to me. :'D
I played before Beta and Alpha. :3 Indev was when I played. It wasn't much of a game back then but I still prefer all the old textures and glitches. :)

I remember getting Minecraft back in January 2014. I played alone on singleplayer survival. Yet I didn't stay in one place and build a house, I just carried on walking I was a traveller never stayed in the same place. Made the most of the infinite world on PC. And then I remember the music coming during a sunset in a jungle biome. I felt so happy and so calm. Then I started playing multiplayer and never went back... I must go back. Because the adventure must go on...
Piano 3 reminded me of when I joined my first ever server and went creative! I was noob so I played creative and built a massive skyscraper!! It took me a whole day but was so worth it! During that time Piano 3 would play... And life was great...

This is so sad. I started Minecraft on PE when it first came out. I knew about the game for a while and finally got to get it on my what was brand new iPad 2. I play this game and think, wow this is truly amazing. I got the Xbox 360 edition 2 years later and built many towns, warships, roller coasters, you name it. I remember first finding diamonds and building my first bridge and house (On PE btw) and all of this stuff. 2013 was a massive year for Minecraft. I remember old skydoesMinecraft and all the old things. Amazing things happened. Until sometime in 1.9. The game was full on cancer and very hard to play. It used to be so simple. Now today I’m surrounded by nostalgia of the game. All I have to say is RIP MC 2009 -2016

The problem isn’t the updates it’s the feel of not knowing what is going on and just wandering your way through the game, watching let’s plays and seeing a TH-camr do something cool to then open Minecraft and trying to do the same thing and feeling a sense of accomplishment. The sad thing is that all of us will never experience that again. We tell ourselves that just playing Minecraft is what we miss but that’s really not true. Minecraft wasn’t like Pokémon or gta or Mario with a story that you are guided through, Minecraft places you into a world that you didn’t recognize or even grasp what to do next until you eventually stumbled across something such as the nether or enchanting or even the end and then learning that new thing until there is nothing left to learn, only to move on to the next thing then the next and so on until you know all there is to know about the game and not having a purpose of playing it and that is where we all are now. We will never be able to experience that again and that is what makes Minecraft so amazing. It gives you memories that can only be captured a few times to then be cherished forever, leaving you with hundreds of little instances such as songs or blocks or names that will indefinitely bring you back to the good old days of Minecraft, and that feeling will never go away. For me, and I hope for everyone else too, Minecraft wasn’t just a game that I played in my free time, it was an era of my life that can’t be repeated, and that really sucks that I can’t experience those feelings again so that is why I’m going to cherish those memories for the rest of my life. I know why minecraft is “resurrecting”. because, when minecraft got successful, the toxic kids moved in, and people did not like it. So they moved. but now that fortnite got released, the toxic kids moved to fortnite, and the old community noticed that. so they came back. but the real thing is that minecraft never died after all. Yeah I was a Minecraft player but Fortnite came in and Minecraft had pretty much died, so I went to try it and hated it. Now that I realize its keeping annoying kids out I like it more.

These songs... everyone says they remind them of the old days of Minecraft, or the first time they played. And I fully agree. But the songs make me think of more than that. They make me think of me, in a huge world, a huge planet, all on my own. In the entire world of cows, pigs, chickens and other wild creatures, I'm the only human. It's just me. And as I look into the horizon, I see huge mountains in the distance. I see lakes cutting through the grasslands. I see endless planes of grass and flowers. I see waterfalls and jungles. I see the beautiful nature of the world, and I start to wonder about all of the mysteries that is out there somewhere. I start to wonder if... there maybe are other people out there, in the big, infinite world, somewhere....
These are, hands down, the best video game music pieces ever, and possibly also the best relaxation music ever created (at least in my eyes). Minecraft is awesome.

Ikr! I always look in into the moon or the sun and I always get a tear in my eye. I get a pig (because pigs are cool and they look sad too) and stare nor the moon and sun. I miss when it's was a survival world that all your friends played on. Nowadays, it's all mineplex. As fun as it sounds, I just miss youtubers playing normal survival. I loved the early days of minecraft. It had this weird allure to it. It was simplistic. It was kind of like an escape from the overly complicated world. You got to go to a place were your only limits were build height, bedrock, and your imagination. You actually had to worry about monsters getting in your house. You felt creeped out because there was no one else around but monsters, and that left you wondering if everyone became the monsters. The day felt surprisingly peaceful, while the night felt utterly terrifying. And redstone was barely a thing. That made you feel like what ever happened, reduced your world back to colonial age technology. It was just someplace to escape the real world. Then they added villagers, bosses, potions, more redstone, new ores, new blocks and mechanics, and then the appeal just went out the window. It was no longer a super simple escape from the real world, it just started becoming complicated.

This makes you think of the past and how much fun you had back then. It makes you think about how much fun you had when you first started playing the game. All the wonderment, all the excitement to find new things. But you dont realize how much you miss those times until you have grown older. When you have to leave those times behind no matter how painful it is to say goodbye to them. You wish that those times could have lasted forever. You wish that you could stay young. You wish that you could enjoy those times with your friends when you build your first dirt shack then you built your way to your first house. Those moments when you found your first diamonds. Those moments when you met lifelong friends. But even though you have to grow up and progress through your life, you will always have those memories. They can never be lost. Cherish them. Forever and always.

To all the people who criticize Notch for selling the game to Microsoft and changing the game... both of those things are the best thing he could've done for the game. His heart wasn't in it anymore in the end, so selling the game to Microsoft was a good thing for the development of the game; a bigger team, more professionality, and quicker updates. Changing things about the game is a necessary part of games like these - if you don't innovate, update and keep pandering to all the nostalgic people your playerbase will die out and the game will fade away. You can always go back to earlier versions, but it's probably best that you realize it's not the older versions you're missing, it's the memories of your newbie experiences to the game, perhaps the communities/people you once associated with. Don't blame the game for your nostalgia. You miss the past, you don't miss the earlier versions.

Everyone acts like the game got worse. I disagree. Sure, the game got developed and changed a bit, but I think it is because we simply learned the game. Minecraft was the most amazing thing to me when I thought everything was dangerous and mysterious. But I think it lost its charm as we played more and found out everything about the game. Whether you stopped getting excited finding iron after 100 times, found out how to make every item or found out how to survive the once-frightening night, we simply lost the wonder that made Minecraft fun. I think it is like that with every game. I would give anything to play Minecraft, Kingdom Hearts or Zelda for the first time again. I think I am rambling on at this point. But I just want to say Minecraft didn't get worse or Microsoft ruined it, we simply outgrew it.

Well That is part of it how we just got too good at it but at the same time there are 2 big factors that ruined it the first one is servers! now if your a beta or alpha player you know old alpha and beta servers were not all about survival games and role playing and pvp! They were about the actual game and about survival and helping each other out and minecraft got way to big as well witch brought in lots of bad people to the game so servers are the first big reason that ruined minecraft and secondly the updates did ruin minecraft made the game too complex to advance minecraft is suppose to be simple and fun but its updates just keep screwing it up

Jorge Granados No. Minecraft back in Beta was far better than it is now. The world generation was awesome, beds were realistic (monsters could attack you while you were asleep if you slept in an unsafe place (for example outside of your house or inside of it when you left the door open) and the annoying message "You can't rest here, there are monsters nearby" didn't exist. Since there was no health regeneration you had to watch out not to take damage, but you could heal by eating wood (*food, darn typo), which was not stackable, though, so Minecraft was at least a little harder and a lot scarier back then. It was a lot more fun to build a house in order to survive the night, and not simply because that's what the game is about. Minecraft is turning more into a map making tool than an actual game, and that's not really what Notch had in mind when he made it.

mason lutz I know, but it still isn't the same. Almost all mods do no longer support beta versions, there are no beta servers and apart from Far Lands of Bust there are hardly any Beta Let's Plays. It's just not the same as it used to be. Oh, and of course all the sounds have also changed, even in the Beta versions, so the experience will not be the same. -_-

Reminds me of the first time I started playing Minecraft back in 1.7 - 1.8, way back in 2011. It was so simple, you had your basic survival materials and good redstone stuff, that's also when the hunger bar was introduced. I remember walking down the gravel roads in a medieval town and this song would play on rainy days when I walked with my dog. Good times.

I started my days on the PE version, then my friend told me that there was a version on the PC. We both used his friends account and boy did I have fun. Holy... listening to this soundtrack makes me think of the old days in 2009-10 when me and my friend were building a town and shops and mining. Back then you they didn't have mini-games and all you did was play by the name of the game Minecraft (You mined and crafted and built stuff) now they have factions and pvp and all sorts of things so if they are going to do this they might as well rename the game to Factiongames or something (You get it). I would do ANYTHING... to go back in time in 2010 and do the same stuff again. I listen to this to calm myself and to make me happy and let my imagination of the past go wild... I also missed Notch working at Mojang and secretly putting hidden features and I tried to find them. I loved the exiting news of new versions and what they brought but now they are coming up with stupid stuff because they are bored, for example (guardians) seriously?? They look like half of a guys insides of his balls with a tail on it... It's very sad that Notch left Mojang for good AND sold it to microsoft life he ditched us... I found minecraft in late 2012, watching gameplays and looking at pictures of worlds and what it looked like.... never got to play it until mid 2013. I knew very little about it at the time. Then, I got to know it a little more, and now I am a minecraft expert. I didn't like how much it changed. I miss the old version.

I remember my sunset moment so vividly. It was like a week after I had started playing, and I had just built a short tower that went out my hole-in-the ground house. The sun was setting just as I was finishing, and Haggstorm was playing. When it hit the crescendo... at that moment it hit me: I was content. I had a bunch of diamonds, I had food, now I had my tower, I was safe from mobs, I had this and that and the music was so beautiful and the sun was so pretty, and awwww... I got hit in the feels so hard it hurt. I think I cried a little.

I was in my first reversed. I had just finished baking my first cake, the sun was setting and I was ready to go to bed for the next day. Subwoofer Lullaby was ending just as I got in bed, right at the beautiful Minecradt sunset, and Calm 3 (Sweden) came on just as I woke up. Priceless, man... priceless.

However, chat restrictions were so fucked up, that things like "I'll" and saying someone's gamertag or even some of it was considered advertisement and swearing. It was like people couldn't even talk to each other. The only ones that could speak in full sentences were VIPs or higher, because they had "special privileges." Even private messaging had this dipshit restriction.

I first played this game in 2012, a friend of mine installed a cracked version of it on my pc, I remember my first building was a small wooden house in the jungle, after that I spent million hours playing it, and listening all this songs inside the game, on and on, making my creativity fly, Im already all grown up and life is more complex now, so I pretty miss much this game and all the people I met playing it.

Mice of Venus baby. I remember back in 1.6.6 (I don't know why but that's when I met all my good friends,) we would play minecraft and make Mancaves and big houses (but ugly) and would thrive. Survival now feels empty, even though there's more to do and explore it feels...sad. The simplicity of the game has been destroyed and replaced with complexity. Which if you like, thumbs up ya, but I feel like the simplicity of the game is what made it so beautiful.

Multiplayer servers suck now. Too many minigame and faction servers. I miss servers that just had a massive town and everyone just built in an open plot and had no pvp. Those were the days. Today I can't find one server like that.

I LOVE IT IT MAKES ME FEEL LIKE I JUST STARTED TO PLAY MINECRAFT AGAIN, I MISS THE TIME WHEN I WAS A NOOB AND BUILDED DIRT HOUSES, i started 2012 August 1.4.6 that's when i first saw minecraft ahhh... the memories, i first started in creative mode and then i builded a base in a mountain with my cousin and my causin's cousins (lol) and i would hide because of the monsters, back then i was so scared of the caves now i would go in there everytime, and when 2013 came i got minecraft on my computer and started playing, spawned in the water and i killed some squids (lol i didn't know who was sky back then i just went for it) there was no land exept little sand hills and i got some ink and i tried to eat it and it didn't let me + i didn't know how to eat. SO I MAKE A NEW WORLD.... I was on land and found my first village, started breaking every single block just because i wanted it even i broke the glass and stone and got nothing i started raging omg, i loved that moment, so i make a dirt house, started mining with my hand, and i made a house with 4 floors but still "DIRT" so the night comes up and i saw my first enderman and hear his awful screams i started looking at the cornet. OMG THERE'S ALLOT TO TELL BUT WHEN I GET A PROFESSIONAL MIC I'LL MAKE A VIDEO OUT OF THIS.

I got Minecraft PE the day it came out in the early days.... No spawn eggs, water/lava buckets. Only four mobs creepers, zombies, skeletons, cows, sheep, pigs chickens. No skins, online multiplayer. No villages or temples. No nether. So basic but so fun. The joy that came when i spawned in my first world. I spent 15 minutes digging through a mountain! I built a hotel, with tunnels going to other buildings. Then they added spawn eggs, water/lava buckets, online multiplayer, skins, nether, so many mobs. Villages. Minecarts. I want to go back.
That part with the mountain and the hotel is allmost EXACTLY what i did on the PC back in 2010.

I love calm 3 because its kind of a sad but hopeful song. It reminds me of when I was still kind of a noob and I had my first house on my first world which was just a house built over a cave systen that was popping up out of the ground. I would go mine when it was raining in minecraft with that song playing and mine until night when I would come out of the mine with it still raining outside and put my iron ore into my furnace and then go to bed with the sounds of spiders and zombies outside. I miss those times :')

Minecraft. There is a big story. All the way back from alpha and beta. The amazing calm music. When the sunrise comes up till it becomes night. The first block the fist house you build the fist mob you kill. And listening to the trans music brings us back. Good old minecraft back then. Minecraft is much more than a game to lots of people. It's like a 2nd life. Notch created the greatest game that 1/8 of the world plays it. They have new music now that for recent players will remember but if you truly had minecraft way back in beta then this should effect you in some way. I know it does to me. :'D

I remember getting Minecraft back in January 2014. I played alone on singleplayer survival. Yet I didn't stay in one place and build a house, I just carried on walking I was a traveller never stayed in the same place. Made the most of the infinite world on PC. And then I remember the music coming during a sunset in a jungle biome. I felt so happy and so calm. Then I started playing multiplayer and never went back... I must go back. This is so sad. I started Minecraft on PE when it first came out. I knew about the game for a while and finally got to get it on my what was brand new iPad 2. I play this game and think, wow this is truly amazing. I got the Xbox 360 edition 2 years later and built many towns, warships, roller coasters, you name it. I remember first finding diamonds and building my first bridge and house (On PE btw) and all of this stuff. 2013 was a massive year for Minecraft. I remember old skydoesMinecraft and all the old things. Amazing things happened. Until sometime in 1.9. The game was full on cancer and very hard to play. It used to be so simple. Now today I’m surrounded by nostalgia of the game. All I have to say is RIP MC 2009 -2016

You're used to it. This is normal. It's nostalgia you're feeling and you don't miss one thing. You just feel that your memory is more precious than your present, which simply is not true.
Cherish what you have. Nostalgia is a beautiful thing, and the OST of Minecraft still makes me want to ask questions about life and how we change, but to be honest: Minecraft changed. And it changed in pretty cool ways.
...Also, if you really just miss a certain patch for its stuff, the new launcher can downgrade. Go wild.

The problem isn’t the updates it’s the feel of not knowing what is going on and just wandering your way through the game, watching let’s plays and seeing a TH-camr do something cool to then open Minecraft and trying to do the same thing and feeling a sense of accomplishment. The sad thing is that all of us will never experience that again. We tell ourselves that just playing Minecraft is what we miss but that’s really not true. Minecraft wasn’t like Pokémon or gta or Mario with a story that you are guided through, Minecraft places you into a world that you didn’t recognize or even grasp what to do next until you eventually stumbled across something such as the nether or enchanting or even the end and then learning that new thing until there is nothing left to learn, only to move on to the next thing then the next and so on until you know all there is to know about the game and not having a purpose of playing it and that is where we all are now. We will never be able to experience that again and that is what makes Minecraft so amazing. It gives you memories that can only be captured a few times to then be cherished forever, leaving you with hundreds of little instances such as songs or blocks or names that will indefinitely bring you back to the good old days of Minecraft, and that feeling will never go away. For me, and I hope for everyone else too, Minecraft wasn’t just a game that I played in my free time, it was an era of my life that can’t be repeated, and that really sucks that I can’t experience those feelings again so that is why I’m going to cherish those memories for the rest of my life. Ik this is a really old comment and this probably won’t be seen, but I just started talking about something I love and couldn’t stop

because, when minecraft got successful, the toxic kids moved in, and people did not like it. So they moved.
but now that fortnite got released, the toxic kids moved to fortnite, and the old community noticed that. so they came back.
but the real thing is that minecraft never died after all. It just slowed its rate.
Yeah I was a Minecraft player but Fortnite came in and Minecraft had pretty much died, so I went to try it and hated it. Now that I realize its keeping annoying kids out I like it more.
