- After finishing our walk back from the beach we get the giggles at some of the unusual characters we met along the way. Then we take a look around the hotel before heading to the buffet to see what's on offer.

Glad you’re both having a great time on your back to back hols. You could have heated water for tea and coffee in the nuke machine but I love that the shop keeper gets to keep reselling that lovely looking kettle, that was so funny. Siam Park is a water park on the south side of Tenerife and Loro Parque is a zoo on the north side of Tenerife, Loro Parque is great for all, Siam Park has a beach area and is great if you have kids but to be honest, unless you are waterslide people, forget it. ❤❤ Sorry, got to add, the coconut dessert was a macaroon, the one that you was thinking of Mazzie is a macaron, totally just had this discussion with my daughter and granddaughters at the weekend 😂😂
Why not use the microwave it is commonplace to use them for boiling water abroad

Mazzy, if you are looking for strawberry jam or orange marmalade it is mermelada de fresa or mermelada de naranja. Hope this helps.

Hi Mazzy and Dan. Jet 2 are really good with giving info on departure details, i have never had a bad experience with them. The kettle saga was so funny, when i was in Gran Canaria, i was told if you leave lilo's in the pool they go and take them back to the shop and resell them lol. It is very colourful in the hotel, which is nice to see. The pool view is lovely from your room. Enjoy your meal and take care x

2.5 weeks to go and back to Tenerife! Last year was my first time and loved it. Turkey Is my preferred place but she's had enough of Icmeler, I love that place.

A lot of hotels have stopped having kettles in rooms due to people pinching them. We go to turkey(hisaronu)all the time. Was very shocked when we heard from the rep the rooms dont have a kettle. We have bought the travel ones. I've got 2 now and always take one with me, they are very light and dont take much space in your case. Xx
I think you should try and see a doc mazzy with your sore leg, the panic feeling you had etc just to rule out an embolism for precaution with all the flying
Why not buy a few bottles of water in the shops and when you’ve drunk them. Fill them up at the hotel. Then you can take it anywhere you want. You could even put them in your fridge so they’re nice and cold. Hope you are over all your travelling tiredness. Xx

Having been several times to Tenerife, it always appears overcast. But its surprising how quick you will burn. I remember once someone saying to me after putting loads of carrot oil on you will burn , she knew better m rest of her go,idly she was in hospital with very bad burns. She went home all bandaged up. I just smiled at her. You can never help or advice some people. . I think your food variety there looks very nice, I thought they were just called coconut macaroons Dan. Thanks for sharing. It may come over stronger as you haven’t really been eating much so nothing for the drink to be soaked up. May help you sleep anyway.

Dan , If the lager is too strong ask to have some lemonade in it, they call it gaseosa I think, ( it's not too sweet either) cheers have a great holiday, again!

Totally agree, that beer is horrible. Its Cruzcampo and I dont think it's actually that strong, it just tastes like someone strained dishwater through a three day old dirty sock. Best thing to do is get a shandy with it. In Spain, shandy is normally made with lemon (like lemon Fanta) and that helps a lot. If youre out somewhere try Tropical beer instead, its local and much more light and refreshing.

Siam park is a big waterpark which gets very busy, so you have to get there early in the daytime, they also do themed nights. Mazzy we stayed in a hotel bit further up than you, we use to go and refil our water bottles in our hotel at the water dispensers save you buying bottles of water. The part of the island you are staying is probably the most hilly! Definitely go to los gigantes has a lovely harbour and nice for food and a walk round, enjoy your holiday x
