Last Summer me and my wife arranged a trip to West Cork in order to be able to see Muireann live opening for Jerry Douglas. We discovered a beautiful part of Ireland and at the same time attended a beautiful concert. Muireann is a real special gem in the current acoustic blues scene
I came across Murieann earlier this year and tried to buy her vinyl but unfortunately it was sold out. I settled for the CD which is now on permanent play in my car. I love the sound of the early folk blues singers such as Mississippi John Hurt, Elizabeth Cotton, Blind Blake and of course Robert Johnson and Rev Gary Davies and it’s refreshing to see that Muireann will help keep these names alive. I hope to watch Muireann perform one day when she visits Swansea.
Blues was my life's first addiction (much more affordable than the Italian motorcyles that followed) . Close to 20 years broadcasting blues radio programs - Muireann is the real deal. Just adore what she does.
Been here since the Little Hands days, and I’ve absolutely loved seeing your career blossom. You are an absolute credit to the music we both love listening to and playing. Long may you champion the century-old tradition of finger style blues!
There was a huge number of country blues guitar players around in the early part of the century on. Muireann has struck into a gold mine of blues, that relatively few people have heard of. And this stuff ain't easy to play! Love her voice.
She's amazing! I could tell from the first time I heard her, about 4 years ago, that she was bound for stardom. Congratulations, Muireann, and I hope you make it to Canada's West Coast one day. ❤
Ever since I saw you on jools Hogmanay show I was hooked I always kinda liked this type of music but you take it to a whole new level a truly god given talent a wee national treasure
I sure hope uou make it to Marthas Vineyard off the coast of ole Cape Cod to vacay and perform. Many venues to play here. Who know’s, James Taylor may come to see you perform as he has a long history on yhe island here.
How can "digital remastering" improve on perfection? 🤔😁 However I'm keen to buy the re-release for the addition of When the Levee Breaks which is magical live. 👏👏 Congratulations Muireann. I hope to see many more gigs and albums. 😊
Hi Muireann - I have a question for you. I noticed that when you're between verses and just playing the guitar you are mouthing something (Your lips move). Are you silently mouthing tempo or something else? Just curious from a fan for life.
Ha ha ! It’s totally involuntary, my mouth just moves, especially when I play difficult parts. I’m not saying anything or singing or counting or anything . This is very common in guitarists. Slash is one famous example.

Just an amazing life . Off to a great start. Stay away from alcohol and drugs. I play in Park City Utah. If you'd like to come in can get you gigs
Are you playing the All Together Now festival in County Waterford August '25? Please say yes.
In an entertainment world of grifters, this is the real thing. Hope she goes on entertaining us for many years.
Look up "overnight success"😂 ... no such thing, but when they say it, you're in spectacular company. And well deserved!
