Store exclusives are a pain in the ass, especially when I have to go to Walgreens and walk out empty handed.at least exclusives from Wal-Mart or Target, if they don't have it, I can do some other shopping.

Store exclusives are a terribly anti-consumer practice, but I have found a genius way around them. What you do is, you wait until exactly 6:35 AM on the day the exclusive releases, then very carefully, and you have to make sure you get the timing of this exactly right, you stop giving a shit.
And yeah, the Moon Knight series was basically OK. Oscar Isaac really sold it, and that was pretty much the best bit.

I want you to roast that Spider-Man mold until I can buy the original for actual MSRP. Regardless of articulation, I still want one, but not at that price.
I really like his cape. A lot. If I ever see him in the wild, I might pay retail for him- definitely not eBay prices though. The articulation is about as good as Marvel Legends come. Hopefully the Spinneret 2-pack Spiderman is the new gold standard.
I hate store exclusives. I still have nightmares from McFarlane Halo days. I'd spend days going from Walgreens, Targets, Walmarts, and Toys R Us', just to find those stupid Skittle Spartans. Joyride wasn't much better.
As someone who is not from the US or any 1st world country, I hate store exclusives, they are impossible to get at a fair price here, getting them from some online seller makes it possible to get them with QC issues, I'm fine it it's just some repaint but big characters like Baron Zemo make me get mad at hasbro
At this point I wish Hasbro would just make s Spider-Man on Bucky Cap, there are definitely more than a few versions, like the classic Romita Sr. version or the 90’s cartoon, where he has a similar build. The articulation would be way more functional and he’d actually look somewhat like a superhero with shoulders and a chest and no humongous thigh gap lol

store exclusives are painful to deal with, but at least target’s have gotten better and you can occasionally pick up ones from walmart. now walgreens on the otherhand is the WORST. could never find the fantastic four wave, 212th clone trooper, moon knight, silver surfer, and pretty much every other one besides medusa because she was terrible
I hate that store exclusives exist. Quasar is awesome in the comics. Hope they make a Phyla-Vel Quasar with the sword.

I hate store exclusives with a passion. Target because they have the GI Joe and TMNT stuff pretty much on lockdown and Walmart because they get a lot of Star Wars Black Series. Can never find jack at either store. Also thanks to my anxiety, I don’t feel 100% comfortable walking around a toy aisle as an adult idk maybe it’s just me. Would rather have the option to buy figures online.

Fuck store exclusives. The Neca Movie Turtles were Gamestop exclusive, then Walmart exclusive. I HATE Walmart. I spent 2 weeks calling 5 walmarts in the area and none of them had them. Also, people apparently dont know what Ninja Turtles are at Walmart. I ended up having to get then for scalper prices off ebay

ACQotD: Exclusives benefit only the U.S. consumers. This isn't bias or discriminatory, it is actually envy. Living in "the neighbor to the north" (and a pretty large 'burgh at that) I might as well live in Turkmenistan, the stores here are loaded with peg-warmers from 2021. So my answer is unequivocally - NOPE!
Shart has his "Spider-Man closeout" we've all seen the big time letdown. I think AC should be incorporating the black Spidey into his ML articulation portion of the reviews. To thinkmm that in 2022 some folks still dis DST MS for articulation - when Titanium Man (MS) has more then black Spidey (ML).

7:25-Hasbro Spideys are cursed.They are forbidden from doing the splits. It is what it is.
Store exclusives are fine as long as they're not significant. Say you had all of dcs characters released in one wave, you couldn't just make green lantern and the flash a Walmart exclusive or bane and scarecrow a target exclusive, but I don't think people would care that much but still have incentive to look for it if they were like a yellow lantern repaint of scarecrow or a blue lantern flash (still feel its stupid to do store exclusives sometimes though). Marvel legends has become so sad and lost all its character, great review anthony

It's horrible for the consumer. Especially the black series figures because most of clone wars figures are store exclusives.
Store exclusives are awful. Particularly Walgreens. I get if it’s not sold in stores, but they should ALWAYS be in stock for order, even if the shipping date is a year away. Why are so many stores so bad at taking money in exchange for goods?
Exclusives get more money for the brand and drum up more conversation, and while it’s a secondary effect, I do think that helps the fans get more toys they wouldn’t get otherwise.
Store exclusives are just an annoyance to me. If they went away forever I’d be happy.
Hey Anthony Customs, do you Like the game DOOM? I know you played Halo, which is my favorite franchise, so I was curious if you've played Doom, which heavily influenced Halo. Halo has been lackluster the last few months, so I started playing Doom, which was the best decision of my life. Mcfarlane toys make Doom figures and just released a pre-order for the classic suit, which sold out in like 3 days.

I love these recent legends releases, they help me appreciate the gi joes even more. Hate exclusives, it can artificially increase the price through scalping and similar weasel activity especially if you aren't fortune enough to consider these domestic, everything is an import to me.
You’re making me hate that symbiote spidey more and more. 😅 I do think butterfly joints and good neck articulation are a necessity though for flying characters so I might skip this. Nice objective review, man. Hope you do a 1v1 comparison between bucky cap and vulcan and point out strengths and weaknesses. Cheers.

What are your thoughts on the new first appearance Spider-Man that’s coming out? In my opinion it definitely LOOKS better than the retro mold with the softer muscles and I’m betting the articulation will be at least a little better

Store exclusives are a necessary evil. They suck but retailers insist on them, even if half the time they fail to actually *stock* said exclusives. Just an overall pain

Walgreens exclusives are horrible. They sellout online and are never in-stores (at least in my area). Other exclusives tend to have waves of restock but Walgreens is so stretched out if there is a restock.
Store exclusives are a mixed bag. The after market pricing can be very frustrating. Walgreens carries figures that aren't even listed in their inventory at times. I found a random Dark Beast at a Walgreens the other day at retail price which is nowhere to be found on their website.

I find store exclusives annoying as hell.
Store exclusives used to be fine, they suck now. Basically non-existent in person. I didn't like Moon Knight. He's my favorite superhero and I feel they didn't respect the character much at all. It felt more like they used a checklist of what the general public might know about the character and then made everything else up rather than a true Moon Knight story.

thats just a short mold on one side on mine. it happens when there is air in the mold or not enough plastic.
Disney+ Moon Knight was garbage. I've been reading Moon Knight for decades. The Disney+ series strayed so far from the comic canon. I don't think they should have been allowed to use the title Moon Knight for the Disney+ series. Anthony, in your opinion, what is Hasbro's thought process behind using pinless arms with pinful legs?

Moon Knight show was ok but lacked action but its still way more interesting than Ms Marvel. I fell asleep every single episode for Ms Marvel.
