Yet another example of a police officer abusing their power. You only had to look at the state of him to know he was going to be unprofessional. His manner was as bad as his presentation. Credible evidence and suspicion objectivity test goes out of the window the moment another officer enters the scene. In order for that officer to pass the objectivity test of what a reasonable person would do in the same circumstances it would mean he ascertain from the other officer what he knew of the individual in case it changed the objectivity. Rather than in continuing the search and making enquiries post search. The level of intelligence / competence is poor here although I suspect it's Spartacus Complex and not wanting to back down.

As with AB’s recent arrest, there are constables on scene who know what is going on, but knowingly choose not to divulge important information. It would be interesting to have a solicitor’s opinion as to whether such withholding rises to the level of perverting the course of justice. These conspiracies of silence seem pervasive among many Police forces, where officers fail to act to prevent injustice or even assaults by their colleagues.

@@richardpaquette8429 No, I've watched enough auditing to see that although many auditors can be good at interacting with the police they are very bad at presenting it to their viewers and just leave them hanging in the air feeling let down and frustrated. That's not a good way to treat your audience, they might get fed up and go. But, on the other hand, if viewers get the complete picture with interaction and follow up their numbers might increase.

What suspicious is the copper walking around you after he came out to you. If you can, ask them question from the UK Police Exam for Dummies Book (Amazon). Or use your right to stay silent, and see what occurs, and then come out with correct Laws & Procedures. When the tyrants recite Section 43 of the Terrorism Act, ask them exactly what PART of the Act they are applying to the detainment and search. They CAN NOT just state the Terrorism Act WITHOUT THE SECTION OF THE ACT.

Hi Kolee - I hope you are going to sue them for illegal search under the terrorism act. I may be wrong but isn't there an IOPCC memo that filming alone is NOT sufficient grounds for search under the terrorism act. If I am right then perhaps auditors should carry a copy around so these egotists can get a quick education and save their force a lawsuit. I believe also that they need to get permission from a Senior Officer before they can search under that act. Stay safe man but sue them.

Section 3.4.9. of the code of practice for stop and search under Section 43 states:
"If, as a result of questioning before a search, or because of other circumstances which come to the attention of the officer, there cease to be reasonable grounds for suspecting that the person is a terrorist or the vehicle is being used for the purposes of terrorism, the officer may not conduct a search under section 43 or 43A. In the absence of any other lawful power to search or detain, the person is free to leave at will at that stage and must be so informed"
The other officer knowing and recognising you in front of the sergeant who searched you should have been enough to eliminate any reasonable grounds the sergeant may or may not have had.
