To get stars on the Cecil's nightmares 3 stars is finishing under 20 seconds (before 1 min 10 secs) and 2 stars is before 40 seconds (before 50 secs on timer)
For the pink card event I would highly suggest Immortal number 1 and Allen number 2. Immortal guarantees to use his invincibility and Allen has his guarantee heal to at least survive 1 shot. If you can have multiple Immortals with invincibility that would be best so your attackers can bring him down since Battle Beast is a single target only character.
@maxponce2111 yeah exactly. He just gets one shot, but he is good due to his elevated 20% damage against worlds beyond and taking off auto you can time his special ability to avoid getting hit and deal extra damage from his special. He is your best damage dealing option.
the pink card event, watch it dont do something else, i turn off auto for the first 10 waves then I use 1 ability on wave 11, 1 on wave 12 and 1 on wave 13; hopefully for wave 14 the first characters will have their special up again, you are shooting to get to wave 16 to get at least 6 rare characters, the good thing is if you get an elite that is on top of the rares it doesn't replace the 2 rares per 5 rounds

Is invincible’s invincibility not guaranteed? Is it because he just one shots?

Is it worth it to buy the tickets from the shop for this event? The highest I can get is wave 8
