Brother Wally It was more than a Pleasure listening to your interview with brother Micheal Dean, I could've listen to you talk for days on in. It was very interesting & real to my ears hearing how you have lived a full exciting & complete life you have been blessed to have traveled all over the world with the biggest and brightest stars the true rulers of their crafts and the music industries. You should possibly deeply consider writing a series of books with all the information & experiences you've shared with Prince & MJ along with many other stars you've work with, telling us your best detailed stories on a world platform(books) CUZ I believe you know & got the goods- the real shit(at your discretion) that the friends/ fans want to know..... GOD has truly blessed you to have met and broke bread, worked & partied with the worlds best that ever graced the stage and held the MIC that blew & held a sweet note, and I lived a page or two vicariously through your interview I respect your knowledge of life , people & places I respectively HONOR YOUR GANGSTER.
    BE BLESSED BRO !!!

Thank you gentleman. It's a crime most radio stations didn't play anything but a scant handful of Prince's music. Just when you hear one song and think there's nothing better...there's another song in the queue. I too enjoy a diverse genre of music...too bad the mainstream radio stations decide what they play adnaseum. Lots of folks behind the scenes help Prince create. What a gift you all left for us.

MR Lom Absolutely agree with your comment. For many years in the UK all you would ever hear were the classics Purple Rain, When doves cry, Let's go Crazy and Kiss. All classics but there was so much more to Prince that many missed out on. The HitnRun albums were great and had some real gems such as June, Groovy Potential, 1000 hugs & x's, Revelation but were never, ever heard on the radio and that is a crying shame.

Wally kept it real, true to his friend and proving why he was a trusted confidant. Even now Wally is keeping all his secrets, would only expand on things he knew we knew, checking every time before going into more detail. Really great to hear that.

I know Prince and Wally had a ball with the jokes. Wally you have me dying laughing because I love 2 tell jokes and prank people, you're off the chain! I'm a spoken word artist who has loved Prince since the Beginning. Music is my healing, Prince, Michael & Janet Jackson and my Uncle George Clinton has inspired me 2 write what's in my heart. Prince Podcast I love your youtube channel. I can listen 2 these interviews about Prince all day! Some of them have me crying but i have 2 say this was the most hilarous interview concerning someone who knew the real Prince. Sounds like he was a down 2 earth guy and Wally kept it real. Thank's for sharing Wally and Prince Podcast.

First I'm glad this dude is seeking out those who really knew Prince, and trying to get some honest stories BUT some of the people he's interviewing just aren't prepared or drunk and add nothing. The most revealing thing was that Prince's father basically really wrote or started the song Scandalous.
A long interview and I really didn't get much in clarity of exact examples of conversations or experiences. I have no problem with the interviewer b/c he tried: at 32:44 interviewer asked "when you were in France shooting Mountains the video how was the experience were there some real adventures?" This man answers "yeah at 2am we were shooting. That whole movie set was beautiful. We'd go to the clubs. It was wow." None of his answers bring me any closer to understanding stories with Prince. Sounds like this guy was high or drunk honestly. "My man 50 grand, dedicated never hated, search him for hits cause I was hit bodyguard"....This man is filled with a million cliches and no depth. He's constantly trying to say how much Prince valued him, but adds no examples of what he added or did in the music. BAsically I don't get experiences. Prince wrote a song about him and obviously there were good times spent but I listened for 40 minutes and didn't get much if anything. The best story he told was @38min mark:"The most memorable moment was Paisley Park becoming a reality. He told me about that before it was built. I was like wow, that was amazing."

There was a lot more that could have been covered here had the interviewer been more informed. I guess he is not aware that Wally was with Prince the night of the We Are the World recording when they were expecting Prince to show up. The whole incident is addressed in the song Hello.

Wally was keeping secrets and privacy under wrap, it was part of his work. You ask a question he doesn’t want to answer, he entertains you to make you laugh and doesn’t answer the question. He is an expert communicator. Still gave an entertaining interview, I see why Prince liked his company.

Michael Dean, you started with the question of the song Wally but you strayed from getting an answer thus derailing from the topic at hand. Please stay the course going forward with upcoming interviews. I was looking forward to hearing about the night Prince poured his heartbreak out into that song before erasing it, then re-recording.

When a person is _everything_ and _all_ _of_ _that_ , one does not have to keep ' _reminding_ '
others that they are or were to someone else . Wally truly sounds high or tipsy because all he has is a pocket full of cliches .
This interview gives me frustration . Wally probably was close to Prince at times, but he just keeps puffing his chest and name dropping. Usually people we run in to that pop their own collar, usually don't even have a shirt ❗....
