That high cut was bad ass!
I'd never seen that before? I love way the bottom fell forward and top rode with it till it hit the ground still standing, then fell back the opposite direction!
      Much respect!!!

I've been watching you and August Hunicke for a while and wanting to try out climbing one, finally got the chance. Family friend with about a 60ft walnut, borrowed some gear from a buddy and climbed it. Used the tautline hitch, the peeler thing for branches and lots of other stuff I learned from this channel and August's, great info and I appreciate it so so much. I got that tree cut down, felt a little sketch a few times, like cutting the top and bouncing back and forth while holding on like a spider monkey. Long story short I got a nice big walnut log I'm gonna mill up into boards and make some nice stuff out of, couldn't have done it without the info in your videos, thank you a great deal. It's also kind of fun, killed my legs and abs though for 2 or 3 days.

@@armedveteran42 it went tremendously well! I only managed to get three down before it got too dark to work safely. I thought I had four to remove, but we’re going to end up taking down seven. All seven leaning in the opposite direction I need to go. The first three landed exactly where I wanted them. I’m sure that wouldn’t have been the case if I didn’t start with the back cut! Stay well! ✊🏼

WHILE YOURE DOING IT, not on the ride home from in the truck when the newbie has already forgotten what youre talking about. love the vids man, you seem to a great father from where i stand, stay safe friend

Morning Buckin. I have been enjoying your videos for a few months now and you really got me excited about felling again. I did a short video on a tree I did in Orange Beach Alabama after Hurricane Sally. I started up a tree service again. It's my last video if you wouldn't mind checking it out. Thanks Buckin.
