Some really good pointers in here. I'd be interested to see the flow of how you navigate through settings to get a great composition. I guess like a POV style video.

Thank you for your hard work here🙏
A few days ago, I bought my little ricoh gr3 to escape from the photos taken on my phone. He's so small and serious, I'm a little afraid of him))) I hope that I can tame him with the help of your excellent advice.
I've been shooting with a SLR camera and a phone for a long time, but I need something in between. I tried fuji x100vi, love didn't happen. Now there is a new stage.

Hi, I am quite new with my Ricoh, so please excuse my questions! :)
How do I change the 4-way controller buttons? For example, how can I change the ISO button to crop? In the settings, I only see options for direct key priority or AF point change priority.
I managed to set the shutter speed to 1/125 on U1, but it comes at the cost of a very high ISO.
If this was explained in the video, I apologize-I watched it twice (I am not a native English speaker) and couldn't catch it.
Thank you! You were the one who convinced me to get this camera, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Reggie :)

Curious if you manually change the white balance every time you use a recipe? I can't seem to figure out how to save the WB to custom 1 or 2 in image control menu.

@k-switch9548 I just keep on WB. For black and white I don’t care lol

annoyingly the internal capacitor in my GRiiix has broken after two years so I’m stuck with only U1-U3 modes, been quoted £350 to fix it…. Appreciate the vid as I might have to set mine up in this way!

What camera would Reggie recommend for a thru-hike? I have a F100v, but was pondering just buying the latest Android that's coming out and just shoot everything in RAW, but was curious if you have a recommendation.

Not sure what the requirements are for a hike. Don't see what's wrong with the camera you already have.

Great video! Unfortunately I don`t get how you set the shutter speed (e.g.125) with AV (Aperture priority). I follwed your instructions but for me it always changes depending on the light. Does anybody have a solution for me .... Massive thanks in advanced from Hamburg

    • @Reggiebphoto
      @Reggiebphoto  11 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

It will always change depending on the light. But it uses 1/125s as the minimum.

How do you get the AEL to hold after 1 press of the FN button? I use the FN button for AEL, but I have to hold it down to keep it locked. I want to be able to adjust exposure like how you have it set up.

    • @Reggiebphoto

I combed thru the settings and don't see what I did to make the AEL sticky
