The idea isn't to be as accurate to the original AK74, it's to create a reliable and durable product. After the VSKA crap, Century decided to really step up their game.
Hk94 - so I guess we're just gonna act like I didn't exist huh?
I got my money's worth with every Century I got. Haters gonna hate. Two C308s. My doomsday gats.
I loved my c308.... until I got a ptr91 and a real portuguese g3... and quickly realized the cetme was inferior
That long MP5 clone is hideous!!!!!!
I didn't know century even had an MP5 clone..
It’s made in Turkey by MKE with HK Machinery. Century just imports it.
A 16 inch barrel makes the retractable stock completely pointless it's still a long piece of crap.
Still waiting on the bft556
Why in the hell did they make a 5.45 gun when you cant get the stuff
New tagline for the HK bastardized clone “Just Compromise” 😂
Well the guns were made on HK tooling .. You do know that.. Even the ptr reciver tooling was bought years ago .. Is the quality as good ? Absolutely not but it is the same tooling

PSA is doing better replicas without slapping a goofy looking 16” barrel on to appease the tyrants.
isnt that the Canik guy?
I would never purchase any firearm from Century Arms. Too many reports of problems.
Do they still file the bolts to make it look like the bolt gap is in spec?
lol no on asked for a 16" mp5 clone
Lol so same deal as their C308. Ptr receiver ptr barrel.
The triggers in these G3 pattern rifles are some of the worst I've shot.
Sbr and sbs laws are so dumb.
Honestly, i dont even trust Century to make a reliable gen 3 Glock clone
Century isn't building these, PTR is. CENTURY just secured the parts kits.
@@eclectic3618 I'm assuming its similar the their imported AKs and MP5 clones?
Just having century stamped on a firearm devalues the weapon.
@@joelgarcia8800 not true lol paid $400 for my 1st C308, sold it for $900
Paid $550 for my current C308 and been offered $1500. Does have a Timney Trigger, Wood Furniture and Bayonet
Got a few k rounds, no issues after about a 200 rd break in. Taken dozens of hogs with it.
Love my C308
audio is all in the left ear
5.45 with only one current manufacturer importing it a 70 cents a round was a terrible choice. Good luck selling it.
Men the portuguese barrels destroyed please thats insane the portuguese G3 was the best G3 in the world the barrels made in Portugal was used by Germany because of their high strengh is sad you destroy the best the gun have. But PTR bought the machine tooling from Portugal who was one of the first country to have the G3 license and was instrumental in the development of the H&K21E and all models associated but i doubt that PTR can made the same recepie and craftsman quality and materials, yeah you can check out its the true, some good company like styer mannlicher should take on the CETME - Ameli machine gun with great quality and new basic ergonomics thats something i would buy even militaries around the globe would buy its a great MG for Special forces and supressive fire and its not a mini mg42 like many people think, Portugal have at one time all Rheinmetal AG and H&K tooling and licensing they produce many batches worldwide until the most stupid defence ministry called Paulo Portas decided to sell and close FBP and the Arsenal Braço de Prata and FMN amunnition that stupid bastard he sold for pennies
