    “Sticking to a calendar and cadence does wonders.”
    Said the same thing at my ex employers and they never listened which is why I left 😂

    If you aren't hitting your quotas, go back to the basics. But if you're hitting your quotas, managing your motivation is important. Sometimes you manage your motivation by changing the script so you don't get bored and hate coming into work.

    If some sales guy decides to harass me like that, even if I was interested in buying, I no longer am.

    • @Bghandle
      @Bghandle 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +14

      Then you weren’t interested in buying in the first place. The sales person is hunting for the person that actually is open to buying and just has to gloss over the window shoppers to get there.

    • @scoobydoo5447

      @@Bghandle people require very little material possessions to live a quality life. If people woke up and started to realize this, the modern economy would collapse by the end of the month. Entities with products to sell fear this scenario. That is why sales people and marketing teams exist.
      I am well aware of the fact that most of what people spend money on is non-essential. I’m guilty of it myself. If a product is truly necessary, useful, or even simply cool, it will sell itself. A product that requires the use of dedicated salesmen, is none of the above. Everyone looking at such a product is a “window shopper”. A salesman that cannot demonstrate the value for cost in very short order is simply not a good salesman or has a product that is absolute trash. To continue harassing a perspective buyer may cause the foolish or weak-willed to part with their money, but it is not a viable long-term strategy to building a sales oriented relationship.

      You are the worst type of prospect. The one that shows interest but never had any intention of buying.

    • @iryumika
      @iryumika 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@VSCNDEDdepending on the product people like to sit with an idea for a moment. If they are rushed in that frame that can turn them off. This is quite normal and doesn't mean somebody had no intention to begin with. Things are much more nuanced than that.

      @jimba6486 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah, but how else are they going to get ahold of you to offer a solution to your problem (if you have one). I always hear what telemarketers have to sell me, I am never interested in their stuff-yet.

      Following up 2 - 3 times a day is help in anything they are struggling with. Or sending documents or videos over bud.

      @@JosiahMatthews Ok fair enough, maybe sending them some useful information that helps them would work.

      key is providing value. If some just calls you and says hey i am just following up on that offer. Yes that can be of putting. In his case he is selling to the end user so they can decide to buy if he can convince them. So if first calls them asking what it is they are looking for then goes ahead and provides a more and more clear solution to what you are looking for following up on the sameday might make sense. Problems occur if some external reason is still blocking the decision. Then it’s a game of understanding the timeline and not loosing contact and understanding when they ready to move forward.
