Hi, my employer had promised me they will file my GC in 3 months, but they didnt do it for 2 years and are now saying they wont do so for another 6 months, i left a job in apple to join and now the employer and I had gotten an email as written proof

But haven’t there been cases were the doctrine has been used as a claim rather than a defense.
