Hi sir Kindly if there any counter attack for van geet NC3 opening or what the best response on cause I search in ur videos I did not found any tube So kindly if u can help me with that opening any link to see on Remote Chess Academy Best regards
I can't decide if it's good or bad that I'm starting to hear Igor's voice in my head when I play... When he starts saying "Why are you playing chess, go chase little old ladies" I'll start to worry
After 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. c3 Nf6 4. d4 exd 5. e5 black's response 5. ..... Qe7 is a bit unnerving. Any suggestions to counter. All imdt moves pass initiative to black
At 7:00 I got in this position pushing my pawn to d5, but my opponent counter played me with Bishop C5. I ended up losing the game. What would have been the best move for me?
At 16.13, if queen took the bishop, isn't Bxf7+ a stronger idea? win the queen for 2 bishops. That was my immediate idea when I saw your bishop move. Am I missing something? I am not GM like you, just 2000 ish
I feel like I am about to embarrass myself here, but at 1:40 why can't black play Qxg5 to get king out of check? I know then white plays Bxg5 to take Queen but surely it's an option to look at? The queen isn't the be all and end all in Every game. Ok, now you can all yell at me 🙈😂🤣
"Win rate for white" is meaningless unless you show us which types of games and rating levels you've filtered for in the Lichess database. Nothing wrong with you teaching this, but there is something wrong when you don't explain to beginners how dubious these gambits are. They will not work against advanced players.
I see this complaint a lot with Igor and I don’t think you and other people realize that you can search for the average rating yourself. It takes 30 seconds and it’s easy to do on lichess. Obviously people won’t always play exactly as Igor did in this video, but take everything he says with a grain of salt and realize he’s a GM giving lessons for FREE targeted at beginner and intermediate players.
@@Toppler-EOkay. Not wrong. Just whining. Needless complaint. He's showing an opening not a great many bother with. Any but the inexperienced know he's not talking about slow positional play.
Firstly I take videos like this as a learning experience that provides an opportunity for you to improve, learn, and see Chess at a deeper level. Then maybe you can take some of that logic and apply it to a game, and even if you lose, you've tried something different and hopefully you've learned something from it and if it improves your game, even better! And leave the advanced stuff that you need to remember for later, just learn the early game traps though, that will help any newbie out immensely! 😊

You said after ...Qxf4, white plays Qxc6+ winning an exchange. Why doesn't white play Bxf7+ and win a queen for two bishops?
he’s probably using his brain to see some of the moves not the engine
Honest mistake by him
indeed. I just checked the engine, and it says Bxf7+ is the only winning move there with +4.6. Qxc6+ is -1.2, it gives the advantage back to black.
Honestly this is a much more informative video than the one from Gothamchess.

Wow, these opening are so aggressive. My grandpa is stand no chance here
The en passant is pretty cool although I quit playing the ponziani a few months ago and now playing Jobava
Igor you are a medium you are constantly covering the most interesting topics for me !! Greetings from Belgium sir
Igor, at 18:43 if black plays Qxf4, could we not immediately play Bxf7#, then win the Queen?
Hi sir
Kindly if there any counter attack for van geet NC3 opening or what the best response on cause I search in ur videos I did not found any tube

Sir please make a video on how to do a successful king side attack and what are the things you should remember

Thx for your teachings🎉🎉❤
What is to be done if black plays ng4 after white plays d4?
1. e4, e5
2. nf3, nc6
3. c3, nf6
4. d4, ng4
5. ??
After 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. c3 Nf6 4. d4 exd 5. e5 black's response 5. ..... Qe7 is a bit unnerving. Any suggestions to counter. All imdt moves pass initiative to black
Love this content. Well worth learning all these traps. It's a real buzz when you fry your opponent in less than 10 moves.
Glad you enjoy it!
Just won 1st game setting up the king to G8! Was so fun waiting to see where they'd move!
Damn bro the subtle dig at Anish that was cold 😂😂😂
Thank you ;) I like the Ponziani
Hey igor, what about the ponziani countergambit?
What if Knight takes on e4 instead of exd4 on black's move 4? I haven't come up with a good strategy to pivot to a winning theory from there
do you have colle's opening tutorial?
At 7:00 I got in this position pushing my pawn to d5, but my opponent counter played me with Bishop C5. I ended up losing the game. What would have been the best move for me?
Thank you!
At 16:09 if Qb6xBf4, Be4xf7+, K moves or takes, Qh4xQf4
@ 16:13, I'd sacrifice the white bishop to f7 check, and then take the queen.
Does it work against the Caro?
Been a sub for years but still a part of the Igor nation ❤
❤
Correction 16:16 - You will definitely not take the pawn on c6 with the queen?? You will make another offer Bxf7+!!
After Bf4 and Qxf4, why not Bxf7+?
16:13 Actually Igor, here white can play Bxf7 and win the queen.
16:11: better after ...Qd6xGf4 is to play Gxf7+ with the loss of the black Q and the game is over.
At 16.13, if queen took the bishop, isn't Bxf7+ a stronger idea? win the queen for 2 bishops. That was my immediate idea when I saw your bishop move. Am I missing something? I am not GM like you, just 2000 ish
Igor isn't bf7+ better here since you win the queen? 16:13
It's amazing how you make the other pieces lose so easily but when I try your tricks opposite happens with me
At 17-17.30 u miss to take queen?
Play with Gotham chess 😅😅
Yeah boi, levy would cry
16:13 waaait!!! Bxf7+ (winning the Queen) is stronger than Qxc6 (winning only the Rook).
IT's not even winning the rook. If you go for the rook, you loose the Bishop on C4 and black has a winning position!
Well there goes my Ponzi play. Now black knows what's coming
I feel like I am about to embarrass myself here, but at 1:40 why can't black play Qxg5 to get king out of check? I know then white plays Bxg5 to take Queen but surely it's an option to look at? The queen isn't the be all and end all in Every game. Ok, now you can all yell at me 🙈😂🤣
Why doesn't Black just play 4...Nxe4?
6:56
Still throwing Gotham some Ponziani refutation shade 😂?
LMAO Yes, I think most of my opponents were watching Anish Giri rather than chasing girls.
collab with samay raina ...indian chess streamer
