    Hello,
    Just some quick question!
You said your application was submitted in May 1, 2023, and you saw a status update in your GCKey account on May 31. Does that mean it took only one month to process your PR application? Did you guys submit your application via express entry? Did you do upfront medical prior to submitting your application? How long did it take for you to get the biometric instruction letter from IRCC?
Pls update. This can be of help to some of us..

Hi, thank you for your questions.
The timeline I gave in the video is accurate. We did upfront medicals because at the time, IRCC was accepting upfront medicals for express entry PR applications.
At the time as well, a temporary policy was in place that did not require us to submit biometrics since they already had our biometrics from our TRVs.
And yes this PR was through Express Entry.

Hello Adelaide, thank you for your question.
I heard back in 2 days after responding to their email.
I have another video I will be uploading on Saturday on Portal 2 that gives that information.

For my application the mail for portal creatio went to KPMG and they forwarded me that mail . Should I be sending the details to kpmg and they will send it on top of ircc mail ?

Hi Kushp. Thanks for your question.
Did you get an attachment in the email and did you watch my video in full? If the email you received is like the one I got, it should have outlined that YOU, the PR applicant should be the one to respond to the email. The email attachment I got was clear that the representative should not respond to the email for the client and that the client should respond to the email themselves.
I would suggest that you read the email and the attachment in full so that you know exactly what to do, please. This is quite a sensitive process that you should be handling on your own so no mistakes are made.

I have received this email today and my wife and my child so we got 3 emails as each different emails. But same document. Do I need to reply only one time from my email ONLY with all of our info or I need to reply the email 3 times for each dependant information??

Hi KsAmJ 👋 thanks for your question.
I'm not sure if you watched the entire video, but I believe I mentioned that we received the emails in each of our names that was in the application and as you mentioned all the attachments are the same.
I did explain that we opted for one person to respond on behalf of the family and for them to create only one account so all of our PR could be confirmed under the 1 account.
So I was the only one that responded to the email and copied the template 3 times into the body of the one email. We then filled out the information for all 3 of us in the application in the one email and got back to IRCC with the information they requested from us.
I hope that was clear - so you can respond only one to the email that came for you and include the response with the information for all 3 of you in that one response that you will send back to them.
All the very best with the rest of the process 😊

    Hi!
I missed this email from IRCC it was sent to me 10 days ago and I replied today.
I am worried that it might affect the pr. Can you help me what should I do?

Hello Foundation Physics, thank you for your question.
I am very sorry to hear that you saw the email request late; however I am happy it wasn't later than that.
Based on the email you would have received, the attachment document did mention that you should respond within 7 days to prevent any undue delays. Since you did already respond to the appropriate email account with the information they requested, I believe you would only have to wait for them to acknowledge your email after they have processed it. I believe also that as the email did mention, it would only delay your application but possibly it won't delay it for long since you did only miss responding for a few days.
I would recommend that you regularly keep checking your email to ensure that you don't miss anything else.
If you choose to, you could fill out the web form but I don't think it's necessary, especially that they usually take a very long time to respond to the web form that persons send.
All the best with the rest of the process for your PR application 🙌

      Hi Alex,
      Thank you for your question.
In the pdf document IRCC sent when they requested the information from you about your last date of entry into Canada it did ask for your best estimate.
Since you forgot that you flagpoled and you did technically exist and re-entered the country, I personally (but I could be wrong) don't believe it is a detrimental error although your last true date of entry was when you did the flagpole.
What you could do is to reply to the email again and highlight to them that you forgot that you did a flagpole and indicate that your last entry date was the date that you did the flagpole, and see if they respond.
If they don't respond, at least you did inform them. I think you should be okay. If you do feel the need, you may consult with a regulated immigration consultant to get their professional advice.
Congratulations on getting the request to confirm your PR.
All the best with the rest of the process ☺️
