Christian New Year's Resolutions

In this skit Cornbread the bear, learns that there are some New Year’s Resolutions that we can make that are better than the common ones like: losing weight and saving money. We can make goals that have eternal value to the kingdom of God.

Lessons Taught:
• We shouldn’t worry about what clothes we will wear or what we will eat
• We should be well-balanced because our enemy is looking for someone he can attack
• We should read (or listen to) the Bible every day
• Memorizing scriptures helps us keep from sinning against God
• We should pray throughout the day
• It’s important to regularly be around other people who believe in Jesus
• We should obey those who are in authority over us
• Jesus took the punishment for sin that we deserve so that we can live with Him forever
• The Bible says to trust in God and not to fear
• God doesn’t want us to be anxious or worried
• God has a unique plan for each of us
