      I dont think people are willing to ruin their lives just to bully someone who they dislike ....
      for those 3 things alone you get pretty long jail time.
      Man why do movies have to have some totally absurd writing in it all the time.
      It was going so well and then this absurd shit happens... totally takes me out of the immersion.
      I mean you can expect this kind of shit in some really criminal ghetto or in detroit, but not in an all white school in suburb :D

    The thing I'm most questioning is, the door opens outwards, so why can you lock someone in, that's not how doors work, also you catch a glimpse of the lock on the inside it's just a push button and twist to unlock meaning she didnt need the key and she really wasnt locked in.

  • @JurijFedorov
    @JurijFedorov 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Man, what is even this story? The first part of the movie is not even about the main story. They fully rely on the twist for everything instead of creating a cool bad guy who seems dangerous.
    Also, again with the silly horror tropes like shooting a bad guy a few times then casually walking up to him instead of SHOOTING HIM IN THE HEAD first. She only survived because her mom saved her. Otherwise this stupidity would have killed her. Overall the lead is just not proactive. She does nothing at all besides supporting the evil murderer. And once she's kidnapped she finally does a bit to escape and then get him captured. But for a long movie this is not enough. She's basically a reactive non-character up to her kidnapping at the end. Ryan is the lead, but yet we know nothing about him either up to that point. So the movie messed up the point of view completely.

    • @FlamesAndShadows
      @FlamesAndShadows 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Idk, from how many times this recap doubled back to her getting recaptured and having to find a way out again, and immediate 'Plan A's for several situation not panning out like in many movies, I'd say she at least is pretty resourceful.

    • @JurijFedorov
      @JurijFedorov 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FlamesAndShadows Sure, that was super cool and fun. But it's one single event. The first time she was proactive. Before that she did nothing at all. No goals, no movements towards anything, no detective work, no surviving, no fighting. All that could have been cut down to 30 minutes.
