Nice of you to help your neighbors. Stay safe.
They help me more than I help them out. Appreciate ya
Good video. Splitting wood is a good therapy plus good for exercising the ❤️
I agree!!!
Cool to have someone to work with in the woodyard
I agree, I never turn down help!!! Thanks
Great splitting session. Some of it split pretty hard, but Eastonmade FTW!! That tractor is pretty
That sweet gum is goofy stuff, likes to shread instead of split 🤣🤣
Great setup you had there and i was lookin for some extra splits but as the end was the explination why i didnt see them. This was before the open house!!! Love ya brother and great job with helping others. That oak does look really good!!!
Yeah man, finally decent wood over there 🤣🤣
Looking good in the woodyard 🪵
Thanks 💪🍻
Good work man! I'm gonna need to put my 4 way on the 22-28 for some smaller logs I have. 😎😎
I prefer the 4 way, makes prettier wood. One day ill graduate to a 22-28 with a box wedge 💪
@LogCabinFirewood heck yeah brother 💪
Nice splittin Jack! Some of that wood was really nice looking stuff! 👌👍
Finally decent stuff over there!!!. Hopefully have a tree service load here in next week or so , depending on weather. Looking forward to bring some wood back home to start stacking up here!!!
Wood snob!😂👍👍
I'm like you. Burn the crap my self and sell the pretty stuff 💪💪 I learn from the best!!!
About time . Your a busy man jack . Work harder . Lol😅
Lol, Hopefully I'll have a load over there this weekend, weather permitting.
Great video!! Nice splitting session!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Appreciate it! Stay Hydrated and safe as well🍻
Love the neighbor like me leaves truck door open all day
Matt said I was so excited I didn't even close the truck door 🤣🤣 Chainsaws and wood splitting is so therapeutic to me. I'm just a weirdo tho 🤷♂️🍻
@LogCabinFirewood oh crap that was your truck
so excited to split some wood you didn't even close the door on the truck!!!!
Haha, I was excited to get to work! I didn't want to waste any time. 🍻 I noticed that too
Like butta! Keep cuttin' brother!!
Thanks man!!!
Wood splitting therapy. Nothing better. Just watched wolf ridge’s video from Messicks. You looked good on that 17VS. I need one 😎. Good stuff.
Vertical machines are super fun. And precise!!! I love hanging out with my friends 💪💪 get one you'll love it!!!
I think you need to try an 8-way wedge. It would cut down on the re- splitting you have to do with the 4-way. Less time and more wood...
Anything over 12-14 inches ill always use a 4 way, 6 or 8 way just makes a mess especially when it's notty stuff.
I think I want a box wedge unit next . Pump out some splits faster .
Box wedges are nice but come with their own set of problems too.
1. You're limited to what you can split, box wedges don't like anything with knots or crotches.
2. 10x the mess and scraps
3. Knots can jam them up, especially with those that don't have hydralic up and down option. Not that, that's gonna help prevent a jam, it better allows to clear a jam. "In my personal opinion"
4. The pull back arm isn't made for jams, you can rip those off any box wedge machine. The return stroke on commercial machine still has some power behind it.
While yes you can pump out alot of wood fast, you definitely have to do extra work cutting out crotches and big knots. If you want a box wedge to be as effective and efficient as possible.
I'll probably always retreat back to a 4 way since it's most efficient for me. 6 way when I have perfect 12-14" stuff.
Happy Friday 🤜🤛
I don't get to see the 9-16 in action too often, nice splitting session sir!
Thanks, once I get my new spot set up, you'll see alot more of it. Coming Early spring 🤞 weather permitting!!!
hi there lots of good splitting , best to all john
Appreciate it, John! Glad you enjoyed it. 🍻
Trusty ol 9-16 💪
Love that dang thing, she just keeps on pushing!!!
Making firewood great again 😂😂😂😂
Yeppers
Looks like a mud pit there right now
Freeze, snow. Thaw, rain, feeeze, snow, thaw, over and over and over. Right where we we're working was on millings tho, so not too bad.
Thanks Joe 🍻
Like someone else said on here - splitting wood is great therapy.. but I’m going to take a guess on the “new thing” coming to the channel~a processor
We'll just have to wait and see🍻🍻
It looks like you two might have split together before 🤔 Good splitting 👍
Yeah, maybe a time or 2 before, thanks man🍻
Heck yeah nice splitting session there.
Appreciate it man, you're the best! 🍻
@@LogCabinFirewood na you are brother
Hey Jack. How is this new location working for you?
Still not set up over there yet, waiting to push over some trees until we have better weather, nothing but rain snow mud and mess. It's nice having a driveway back though for sure 🤣🤣
What's the eta on your new equipment??
Ready for pick up as of last Friday. Just gotta get up there around work and snow storms this week
Get’Er done before the end of the month just in case things don’t work out with the Canadian tariffs.
@PremierIowaTreeSurgeon it's not going to happen. Trump was playing their president to get off his butt to beef border security on their in and he did. He had to fuss because he's a libral like our democrats
