I moved out of Myrtle beach in 2005, so I’m guessing it was 2003 (maybe ‘04) when my father-in-law was beating on our door just before sunrise so he could get my kids down to his favorite spot, 2nd Ave Pier, took some of my favorite pics that day:)
I loved snow when i was younger. I just recently had to get my car fixed and I've been walking to work in the snow. It's not so bad if you have the right boots. :) gotta say, we get slammed here in buffalo but i truly wouldn't wanna live anywhere else.
Ok, I enjoyed the video but I have to agree with Chris about the satellite phone. You should also always have a first aid kit, big warm blankets, extra food and drinks and some form of protection even pepper spray 😉 You need a bigger lift kit and the best tires for mud/snow and a winch on front and rear. I lived in Alaska for about four years. I had always dreamed of seeing it so I just one day went up the Alcan and got a job there. I loved it there very much and was sad when I had to leave. I still miss it.

Have not seen that much snow since leaving North Dakota. When I was up there we got that kind of snow in August and September. Then lots more until May. Temperatures at times between -20 to -50 below zero. Thanks for this video not only for the memories but for making a good start for the weekend.

We have gotten stuck in the snow and ice coming home. We was only 7 miles from town. We couldn’t get a hold of anyone because it was late. My husband at the time and my oldest son walked to a house about 2 miles away. He took us home. Never will forget the helpless and scared feeling. Lots of love from Texas! I'm from Buffalo NY, so when I see people getting nervous about driving through some snow its comical to me... I have a little AWD chevy trax and drive that little thing through just about anything! We're use to feet of snow getting dumped on us here! Stay safe guys! ✌💗

Little hint for driving on snow/ice, SLOW DOWN take it down to the lowest gear and if you are on an icy road that has snow on the sides drive in the snow it gives you tires something to grip.
Have to admire your courage CJ+Chris…there’s no way I could drive down these tiny narrow roads…very atmospheric with the snow crunching underneath your feet, but way too creepy for me…there’s more noise in a cemetery than where you are right now!!! Correct. In our case we have to plow ourselves out at night because we’re at work during the day. So we’re frequently plowing out in the dark.

Have to admire your courage CJ+Chris…there’s no way I could drive down these tiny narrow roads…very atmospheric with the snow crunching underneath your feet, but way too creepy for me…there’s more noise in a cemetery than where you are right now!!!
