This song is for the VIPs that turned their backs when BB had a scandal. Bigbang wasn't like the typical kpop idol group who is bounded by rules of idols can't do that idols can't do that. They broke the stereotypes and made their own rules. That's why k media is always targeting them with even the most silly things and making it a scandal
Let's just say that's the one who left is a fake n the one who's stay is real, BB is also a human, the want to do things like normal people do but media n negative people always getting in their way.

Yes! This was included in the special edition of the ALIVE album, especially written for VIPs. Everyone who stayed and everyone who left because of everything that happened the previous years, all those "scandals" and issues thrown at them. And yes, it is still so accurate up to today given what happened after the success of MADE era. VIPs didn't even need any romantic relationships, we've had enough heartaches by just being VIPs alone. Our hearts have been broken so many times, I even feel like the number of times is way more than enough. 💔😔

Yes. And that line, "If even you throw me away, I will die" hits very deep. I know the entire song was for VIPs but that line really gets me everytime. We all know how BB loves their VIPs and it feels like, us leaving them because of everything that's going on is gon' be a huge heartbreak for them. They count on us to be the first people to believe in them and not let them down especially when it seems like the whole world is doing that do them, and when a lot of us slipped away just like that after one or two scandals, it broke them because they lost a huge part of them, too 😭😭

BigBang was going through some very hard times when this song was released. I know we should keep the past in the past but I would recommend you guys do a bit of research on everything the members have been through. Especially Seungri who is unfortunately currently going through a massive scandal. Every time i hear an older bigbang song it reminds of what was happening at that time, and it makes you appreciate the members a lot more knowing what they’ve been through and also what us VIPs have been through.

This song always has a special spot in my heart... It's sort of like the Flower Road of the ALIVE era. After all the scandal back in 2011... TT One of my favorites.
The sad thing is Dae was the most popular one in BB with GD back then in Korea. He was always on the TV and shows, MCing. After 2011 , he is hard to find in TV, Dae doesn't want to appear on TV anymore (rarely) and becomes the super private Dae we now know.... The public used to loved Dae so much.
Bigbang is master at making sad lyric into hype song. And the piano in the background really bring the sadness of this song

Like many have said, due to their popularity and always being the first to break stereotypes, BIGBANG is media's favorite target for scandals. There were a few especially bad ones back in 2011 that almost caused them to disband and they released this in 2012 for VIPs that turned their backs on them during the tough times.
Also, BIGBANG especially GD is really good with making upbeat but sad bops. VIPs have learned to jam sadly bc of this lol

Every time I listen to this song I cry at the thought of the Bigbang members at that time. Fans began to move away from them and see them like monsters to be shunned.

Some people also theorized that the MV for this song is the prequel for 'Fantastic Baby' with them being imprisoned of judgement, being seen as a Monster and on Fantastic Baby where they are able to break free with the help of their remaining fans and basically reclaiming their throne again in the music industry 😊 I really love T.O.P's rap verse here, I think it really sums up what they really feel and what this song is about. Let me explain their so called 'scandals' in 2011 as they described in detail what happened in the program, healing camp. After Daesung finished his work one day, he drove home. While driving on a highway, the car in front of Daesung's suddenly pulled away trying to avoid something, Dae then hit the taxi right in front of him, but there was also a person on the ground he ran over. That person died. But it was not clear whether the person had died before Dae hit him. As you can see, how is this Dae's fault? It's just bad luck but people called Dae murderer, monster!
As for GD's case, in the after party of a concert in Japan, GD was offered a cigarette in the washroom by a stranger. Thinking it was a cigarette, he had a puff. He was tested positive of a very small amount of marijuana later. So he's the drug addict, monster, blah...blah...
In daesung case, the victim family already accepted that daesung was innocent n they settled in good terms just haters not satisfy with the result n still blaming him...
This song was made specifically for VIPs, a bit of background is that in 2011 a couple of the members got into pretty big media scandals (GD allegedly smoking marijuana, Dae in a car accident) , some fans left them because of these scandals (the song is directed to them) and YG was going to disband BB, but gave them one last chance at a comeback - and that comeback included Fantastic Baby, which instantly blew up and made them much more popular than before. BB have never really had the "Korean Idol Flower Boy" pure and clean image, which almost every other group has, they show that they are human too. This is also the era of risky hairstyles- mushroom hair, Tae's gimbap hair 😂

Yep this song was indeed for VIPs who called the monsters and left them because of their 'scandals'. In the MV there are two sides of them, one how people look at them(as monsters) the other where were trying to escape the attacks, hate and negatively by entering the building (VIPs) to protect themselves but it was collapsing too and they were being attacked in there too. In the end when GD came out of the building things weren't the same anymore.
Also the mv is full of God knows how many symbolism, BB MVs are really hard to interpret. Thanks for the reaction though. It was fun
