Hey Blake all the HT HG floated ,i had one in 75 kingswood 253 v8 weight helped them plus lowered front 8 inch magnums all round helped although overwidth track defect ,some guys with dollars put the Monaro 350 front end in ,but generally holdens wondered the road till HZ RTS and buy then the 350 was gone so mate dont expect much from the old girl ,if you want a laugh look up the 1970/71 Bathurst and how they fought with the monaro,s ,the HO,s werent much better,really enjoy your content specially the HG takes me back to fun times 😊😊

the main seal leak is normal on red motors almost impossible to stop
doesnt seem to have any blow by coming out the oil filler cap
might just need a good run try adding some nulon stop smoke i use it in my excel it has 460,000 k s on it still runs good
put some heavier front springs and monroe shocks in it will help

Yes I would have like to continued running the column but with the floor shift already there it’s abit to cover up plus new carpet, for now I have just knocked the pin out and removed the column lever to save the hassles. Cheers mate!
