    She hit the nail on the head when she said she had her husband on the throne instead of God. The tragic part is many women commit the sin of idolatry, putting their husband on a pedestal. Then when their husbands fail, they look to replace them with another idol. Put Christ on the throne ladies!

    • @mickeytollison
      @mickeytollison 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      That excuse is nonsense. If she is honest she had the other man on a pedestal and her husband tucked away in a closet. She wanted to pursue lust and that had nothing to do with where she placed Al. We all have sin and we have to admit its origin and deal with the root cause.

    We are currently living separately. I just started serving God a few weeks ago and it’s been a lot, but I will not stop serving Him no matter what! I don’t know why I’m going through this but I pray He heals my wife even if we don’t get back together. She served God and hates Him now because He took too long to answer her prayers for me to change. It is comforting seeing another couple go through serious trials and choose to love each other through it. My marriage also went through a similar situation. Through that we found our short comings and have persevered and have two wonderful boys and a busy life. I praise God for the grace, mercy, and forgiveness. And to my husband for finding his faith when I had lost my own(while I was so lost).

      @@philarevolutionarywarriorp8295 it wasn't an easy or overnight fix. I was previously the one that pushed to go to church and things. But when I lost my way my BIL helped my husband find his faith. Not that my husband is an active person in the church. But he goes because it is important to me. Don't get me wrong, his father was trying to get him to get a PI and he was researching ways to keep our son that I was pregnant with at the time. And I'm so glad we worked it out. Because he loves me and we both re-prioritized our lives and I now guard my heart. I didn't know the dangers of that before this happened. I was always very open and forth coming, which I still am to an extent. But I don't have close guy friends like that, etc. I have no doubt by husband would act the same if we weren't to end up together down the road. That is the example he had from his father. And I would want to be friends and make friends with the next wife. But once he is burned he has a hard time mending that fence. Best of luck! And pray for her heart and pray about bettering your heart and showing God's love to others. :)

      So many give credit to god for good marriages, wealth, or any success.
      I am a spiritual person but hold no one faith as my own. My wife is a christian. I have struggled for nearly 5 years to get her to stop drinking. Years of knowing about her cyber sexual games, erotic pic sharing with other men. Now here I am, separated, fighting to keep my kid's life status quo. Keep them in their home. My Christian wife has moved out , still drinking, telling me she hates me. Sometimes you just lose. Is it ok to look up to God and hold him accountable?

    • @adamculp9474
      @adamculp9474 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@father1st894 yes. If you read the Bible you will find out that a large portion of it is made up of people questioning God and what they perceive to be His actions.
      As you enter this wrestling match with God, you will come to the knowledge that He is real and that you are also accountable to Him. That is where the fear of the Lord starts and as the Bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
      The next step is coming to the realization that He loves you. That may seem like an impossibility now so I would start with the first step of holding God accountable and having the integrity to be accountable to Him.
      When you got married, you entered into a covenant with your wife. It was made up of benefits and responsibilities. It was sealed by vows. She was accountable to you and you were accountable to her.
      God has made a covenant with mankind through Jesus. I encourage you to read your Bible and find out what those benefits and responsibilities are. Decide if you want to enter a covenant with Him otherwise you have no right to hold Him accountable.

      @@adamculp9474 Well I grew up attending a Methodist church till about 16 years old. I attended many bible studies in confirmation class.
      In college I elected to take 3 theology classes out of pure interest . Religion is fascinating to me. I have read the Christian bible 'more specifically the King James version ' twice front to back. Ecclesiastes being my favorite book out of the 80. There are so many good writings throughout, and just as many writings that create many questions and confusion.
      Marriage is supposed to be all the things you said in your post, but the reality of the union is quite the opposite. I was accountable for things I said or did wrong. I didnt cheat physically or emotionally. I was never addicted to pills or alcohol. Yet I am the one who caught the brunt of her addictions.
      I was the one who watched my wife pushing send on snap chat this delivering photos of her naked body to other men. I was the one who had to cover for her when the kids asked if mommy was drunk again. I was the one who dragged her inside the house cause she passed out on the back deck barely clothed in 23 degree weather. I was the one whom was emasculated when she was intoxicated, while not getting her way. So I will leave you with this...
      If I am a child of God that loves me and intervenes, at won't point do I not have the right to question or even be angry. If he has a purpose for what I have endured and has my life planned for me then why should I pray. So what you are saying is ..if I do not exactly follow the teachings of Jesus which is the youngest of the world's major religions , I have no right to petition God??

From what you say, she doesn’t seem to have any fruit in her life such as love, peace, patience, self control, etc. I don’t think you should blame God, but you can talk to God by lamenting like the psalms suggest. The psalms keep airing out their problems in a proper manner. If you were to lament to God, don’t be in full anger, raising your fist and having hatred towards God, but talk to God and try to get close to God.

    I want to say Thank you...Thank you for sharing such a private and special story. As your story is symbolic to mine and I am sure to so many others I would like to share the following. I have found that any 2 people can persevere though any trial as long as one of those 2 people is our Heavenly Father. The above story shows this to be true. Life challenges can test us to our very core. Wanting us to end anything that can bring joy to our lives. The key is to allow our Heavenly Father to guide our life and allow our Faith to be within him 100% in our thoughts, actions and daily lives. Trials can be so difficult and make us want to give up. But despite our trial, we can overcome any obstacle that is placed before us by exercising our Faith in our Heavenly Father. This doesn't mean that life will be a walk in the park. It will still have its ups and downs. But I am here to promise each of you that on our Heavenly Fathers watch your trial will pass and you will eventually see the Joy that was meant for you and each of us. God Bless You All

Things in life always work out, whether it’s with this person or not, if you chose to fight through it then fight through it. I also think it's different when women cheat. Not worse nor better but different. A man can cheat for physical reasons where with women it's more than pure hormones and sex. I think it's easier for a man to cheat once, get caught, redeem himself, and be good. When women cheat 90% of the time emotions and connections are involved and once we cross that line we really struggle mentally to get back into the game. We may feel remorse, etc but often times we won't be able to rekindle the love we had no matter how hard we try. Women and men are just built differently.
