Blimey, I grew up in that pub. Mixed emotions about whats been done to it. Some great memories as a kid, playing rounders on the island outside, hanging out the skylights in the summer watching the red arrows, and scared bleeding stiff at night hearing footsteps on the landing.

The Bee (Grade II listed building) is going to become offices. The building at the back is an extension which had to remain separate because of rules relating to listed buildings.
For heritage projects such as this one at The Bee, money is available from National Lottery Heritage Fund and Welsh Government.
Costigans is still on the other side of the road and derelict. Some improvement work has been done on that building in the hope that somebody would show commercial interest in it.

What is the new build part? Where did Costigans go?
Blimey, that is a big overhaul. Surprised to see so much money being spent in Rhyl for a change!
