+Caroline Ritchie Maybe it was his own attempt at a generalised Irish accent. Or he may have had an accent coach. To me, it sounds Irish, to an Irish speaker, it's probably like, 'fake sounding' or 'where the hell is he from in Ireland?'

It's not bad.The Australian accent owes a lot to the Irish accent after all..
I disagree. I've lived all over Ireland and have never heard anyone speak remotely like he does here.
