Hi there Triple S Games, I’m wondering if you’d ever cover Connect 4x4 one day, it’s a four player version of the original Connect 4. It has some interesting mechanics you’d might be interested in hopefully.
0:03 The rules may be the same as regular Uno, but your new studio looks like the Jeopardy! studios dimming the lights and the set turning red for Final Jeopardy!
I was gonna do “area demolition sequence”. It makes it so that every player discards all of their current cards and adds 4 cards to them. These cards need to have at least 1 of every color or else get that card’s face value amount of cards. If you get a wild, that does not count. Then the person who plays the card’s turn gets skipped for 2 turns, then normal play resumes.
So my style of house rules is pretty simple. Play a house rule card, and you get to choose another player to play out of turn. Play then proceeds to the player after the house rule card player and game continues like normal. If you play a wild game changer, you get an extra turn. Since you get an extra turn, you do not need to call out a color. Instead, after playing the game changer, you may play any card of your choice in your hand.
House Rule Idea Name: Chance Card The player that played the card must pick a number (must be positive and whole). The card is then dropped. If it lands face up, the next player in turn order draws that many cards. If it lands face down, you draw that many cards. Example: The card is played. Player 1 chooses the number 8. The card is dropped and lands face up. Player 2 draws 8 cards.
new room looks nice, although the lighting on the top looks a bit odd but that might be me. on another note, why do i need a special uno version for this lmao
What if everyone does it at the same time or you can't say who did it last... This is kinda dumb. I own the game and people got mad cuz they thought they weren't the last to do it. :(
My possible House Rules: (HR=House Rule) 1. For each of HR1 card you have, you immediately earn an Extra Turn. 2. For each HR2 card you have, draw 2 cards. 3. Whoever has HR3, must play a guessing game on the next turn(only once no matter how many HR3 you have). Guess what the colour of the next card is then draw one from the draw deck. Guess the next colour card correctly and you discard all cards of that colour. Guess it incorrectly and you draw 3 cards. Wilds are Instant Win, and you can choose to discard all colours from one card of your choice if you draw one. This substitutes your normal turn, but you play normally afterwards. 4. This one is fun. Once you play it you will start a battle. Discard all your Number cards in hand, ignoring the HR effects. Highest total value will be able to discard them all. The rest will have to take them all back and draw the number of cards the winner has discarded in that battle. Equal Total Value? Highest 1-card value wins it. 5. Only affects yourself. Once you play it, take one card from one player's hand. Here's what happens depending on what card you take: Number: Discard cards equal to the number shown on the card from your hand, then discard it. Wild: Choose which colour to continue play. Then discard it and take an extra turn. HR card that isn't 5: Trigger that house rule, then discard it. Wild Rule Change: Choose the next colour that continues play. Then swap two HRs shown above. You then gain an extra turn. HR5: Lucky you! Discard 5 cards, and the player who you have chosen to draw a card from draws 5 cards. You get to skip their turn, and you immediately gain an Extra Turn. Sweet!
Extra house rules:When an HR1/2/3/4/5 is played, pick a player to reveal their hand. Then you choose none, any, some,or all cards in their hand to take and give them that many number of cards to them. All cards used must be revealed to everyone.

They aren't house rules if they are widespread.
