    Great tutorial! Maybe you could also do something where you grab a person with animations and throw them (like wrestling in a combat scenario similar to stealth takedown but you grab them and throw them)

    Could you do something like this for the next tutorial: (It doesn't have to be all in one episode) Make an animation that when a player presses e or f on the keyboard, he enters and exits the car as in gta, saints row, mafia and other games similar to them. After that you can make the physics of the circuit so that they can have, for example, turbo or nitro, drift, etc. And don't forget to put radio stations in the car, so that the player can listen to music while in the car or driving. It would be good if a moving vehicle could hit an object and the vehicle could be damaged, scratched or some part falling off. It's just arbitrary if you want. The last idea for the end is that vehicles, when parked in a garage or some facility, can be upgraded. To improve speed, acceleration, drift, etc.

    GREAT Tutorial my Dude!! I'll be using this for something, you can count on it.. If you wanted to add to this, maybe something like: Having to hide the bodies from the other AI if you go Stealth Mode. Just a thought, keep doing what you're doing you're Awesome my Dude.     Is it possible to do a version of this where the player cannot lift the object, and only drag it across the ground? I’m trying to set up a system where the player can move furniture but ideally the furniture would stay on the ground instead of being able to be lifted above the players head

    Could you make a video explaining how one might go about making the character into a ragdol that you kinda hustle controll. Not like active ragdoll but like a ragdoll that kinda moves forward via like some kind of rolling or aomething idk if you wanna know what i mean just use the fish in goat sim 3

    Great thanks Matt, Could you please make a tutorial about attaching yourself to a rope. I use the Grappling hook that you made with a few tweaks to make it spawn a cable component and have move to location at the players feet so they can get on top of objects easier but I cant seem to work out how to attached the cable component to the players hand and have them use Physics to swing from the rope. TLRD; tutorial for a physics rope swing for the player.

    Is there a way for the enemy AI to start out standing in idle or doing specific animations, and when you lift them up, they simulate ragdoll physics? And after you drop or throw them, they revert back to their starting conditions?

    Hi Matt. Thank you for making such nice tutorials. I have followed this video, and I think my setup is identical to your. (I am using UE 5 Preview 2). If I play the scene, my ragdoll NPC falls to the ground. But when I try to move the body, its like the physics are "sleeping". If my player collide with the NPC, makes him move a little, then the grab function works. I tried to add a "wake rigid body" in the blueprint. It made it better, but the grab-funkten does not work every time. Is there some physics parameters in UE5 that can screw some things up?

      Hey, I fixed it. In blueprints I put a "Wake Rigid Body" between grab component and set target location.

      @@lihis2543 Thank you! I was getting lost with this. But the grabbing of objects is very fiddly and takes several tries to grab a physics object. Did you fidna work around for this also?

      @@vakonitas I don't think grabbing objects was fiddly for me. Only problem I had was that it won't grab the physics object always and that was because the object is on sleep mode and no physics are happening with that object.

    Fantastic tutorial! I am totally lost and cannot find a solution. I am not a game maker but animate in Sequencer. I cannot find any way to attach a character with rag doll physics to another animated character whilst that character performs a series of animations, carrying the rag doll character with it as it is attached to a part of the animated character's body! Can you point me in the right direction at all? Many thanks!

    I have been trying to figure out something. How can I make a cobweb projectile ? Meaning, a player or enemy can throw cobwebs like a grenade which will stick to the walls on impact, if another player comes in contact with it, their movements are super slowed down, effectively making them stuck there for a while

    @Matt Aspland Can i ask you a thing? how can I stop players from dropping items on the opposite side of walls? Like, how can i set the collision off just for the pawn, just for my character while i hold a item? The item needs to block walls for example. I'm my code i just "Set Collision Enabled" and put "No collison" This makes the object go through everything and I want it to just go through my character so that the famous bug of climbing objects and starting to float doesn't happen. While i'm not holding the object, i want to be able to climb him. And i think that its a great video suggestion for the grab, inspect, drop items series :) Sorry to bother.

      Hey man, if I'm understanding you correctly, you want to place down an item on the floor, making sure it doesn't glitch through or onto anything?
      If so, then I imagine linetraces is the route you want to take. You can use a linetrace to find where to place something, this will collide with any obstacles in the way. Meaning if it collides with a wall, the object will not be placed beyond it.

    I did everything the same, and it doesn't work, snif...
    Npc are falling to the ground, but that's all, can't grab them.
    I guess it doesn't work anymore in UE5 (or lack a setting I don't understand yet)

      yes Unreal created a special node for it. It's called execute console command then you type exit inside the command. Cheers
