- What can I say! This session was interesting and a rollercoaster... Could have gone completely different in some stages!!
Bought in for $3.7K but things got spicy halfway through on some larger hands!!

That looks like my latest splits and doubles. I did have a good one last night split 3s against a 3. Ended up splitting again had 4 hands doubled last 2 1200 on the table. Dealer flips an 8 for 11. Thought I was done but dealer pulls a 2 then 10. Dealer bust. My first good split and double in weeks. Love your videos. And the Seminole casino in Hollywood is awesome

8 to 1 on a trip is pretty small. My local place is 33 to 1 on trips and another not to far is 200 to 1 for suited trips

I don't think I've ever seen a shoe come out with that many 8's and 9's in it. Appears that was either a 6- or 8-deck table, so those can really turn into volatile nightmares in a hurry.

Normally, if I get two aces dealt to me, it seems regardless what the dealer has face up, I'm doing good if I break even. On Free Bet, if you get dealt another ace, for example, you can split it - up to 4 times. And that's exactly what happened to me last time I played.
I've uploaded the picture on my google drive that I'll put on my next reply so you can see it (as I don't know if TH-cam has a fit about stuff like that or not).
And sure as shit, dealer had a 3-up, and I lost one split, pushed another, and won the other two - BUT - the biggest deal here is that I had a $6 sidebet for splitting, so it paid 30:1, so the real money was that, which was $180 plus my $6 back. And that's what keeps me playing Free Bet. :)

ego most likely.. if you watch his play..when he wins, he typically will up his bets and play the side bets. and play for the dealer... i get it "its gambling" but clearly when the dopamine hits, the bets go up.. one one hand , he won... upped his bets on the next and bet it all on the side bet and for the dealer.. gave it all back. ..

Question, when the 2 Aces came out and you split them why did your second cards get dealt facing down as if it was a double? Couldn’t you hit the A3?
Splitting aces is an exception, only one card allowed. Too much of an edge for the player otherwise, as small as it can be

You failed to note that if he had doubled, yes he would have pulled the 3 for 21 but she would have drawn the 9 on her 12 for a push. At least he won the hand without doubling. They don’t call the 2 the dealers ace for nothing.
I failed to mention that basic strategy says stay on soft 18 against dealer 2 if no hit soft 17 game

They only allow you to split aces once.

They only allow one card per ace when you split aces.
Most if not all casinos will allow you to split ace's once and will not let you split again if you get aces or take another card
