PNG is a file type that refers to an image with a transparent background. Having a clear background makes them great for overlaying on other videos or images so you can see behind them. Most images come in the JPG/JPEG file format however and have white borders around the subject of the image. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to convert JPG images to PNG images with a transparent background using a free online PNG maker that allows you to erase parts of any photo. This tool works in the browser of any device, so you can use it on iPhone and Android devices or your computer.
There are 6 easy steps:
1. Open Kapwing Studio www.kapwing.co...
2. Upload your image
3. With the image selected, click “Erase”. Select the Magic Wand or Erase tool, then click and drag over the areas you want to erase until it looks the way you want
4. Click “Done”
5. Select transparent as the canvas background color
6. Click “Publish”, then “Download” to save your file on your device

Extra: If you use this on discord as ur pfp, it will only show black as the background which means that its PNG so dont worry!

Hi Grace thank you so much for the tutorial it was a game changer for this creator and you made it so easy to follow your instructions. Just one thing though, hitting delete on my pc for some strange reason did not delete my chosen area but going back to the area where the magic wand was and hitting removing the pixels worked perfectly and as was stated I then went in with the eraser for fine tuning. I am so happy to have found your tutorial.
