Any ideas if this mod would work on a MK10?

Not sure, I'd expect so. You might reach out to these guys as they've done a Mk 8 and another model, check out their blogs: blog.tynemouthsoftware.co.uk/2018/05/binatone-tv-master-mk-8-tv-game.html blog.tynemouthsoftware.co.uk/2018/05/binatone-superstar-programmable-tv-game.html

@The-Tinkerer Thanks - the blog doesn't seem to have a contact unfortunately. I do have the original mk10 manual which has a diagram on the mainboard in my unit but I'm not technical enough to understand it. TY won't let me post a link to it though.

May I ask, any tips on picking up the positive and negative on the board - my first port of call. I can see where the power jack connects to the board, but presumably that is 9v, for the mod it requires 5v ((or 6v as you managed). Is the voltage stepped down somewhere? Sorry if this is dumb newbie question.

So I actually managed to figure this out with a bit of luck and hit and miss attempts. I found the ground and 5v pretty easily and then tried the video wire on a bunch of solder points around the rf modulator and I have video on my TV via the RGB cables. My left player paddle is black on the screen (only visible when you move it over one of the white court line boundaries on screen) and the said boundaries are a bit wavey - so maybe I've not quite got the right video solder point on the board. First I am going to re-cap the board to see if that fixes anything though :)

@@robbune1792 nice job Rob. Weird with the black player/paddle?! Hope the recap goes well. I'm afraid I'm no expert in these things - just a tinkerer! ;)
