Dude, you HAVE to see the live versions of guerrilla because this song was made to be played in STADIUMS with the fans at the show SCREAMING LIKE CRAZY I mainly recommend the Coachella version but the versions from other concerts are great too
I had a whole novel written and lost it, so I’ll summarize. Movement is the best album for me. All songs are 🔥🔥🔥. Watch every Seonghwa fancam in this era… even when he is off the stage, he is in character. Guerrilla performed now is much different than what they did earlier on and the rock/live band versions are perfection in concert. Sector 1 is underrated. Cyberpunk should have been a title track because even my non-Atiny friends and family comments on how much they like it and I’ve even need asked to play it several times. Propaganda also needs to be released as a full track imho. Ateez is awesome. You’re awesome. Goodnight 😎
There are concerts where hongjoong performed the screaming part in guerilla a few times. And coachella did it in week 2. Coachella guerilla performance was very good.
Yesssss, we're finally in The World series! To answer your question, yes, the Rhythm Ta performance happened in World Z and portrayed Ateez as a rebellious group against Strictland. You can see that in the Rhythm Ta performance there is the name "Awakening of Summer" which is the same name that goes into the trailer 1 for The World series.
@ yeah, I remember when this trailer came out I immediately went to the Kingdom performance to check and was mindblown by it! It was then that I started to understand just how intricate their lore is
Til my dying day, I will say that the only flaw with The World EP 1: Movement is that Propaganda wasn't a full song. The Break the Wall fan chant has become so well known that other fandoms will join in at combined shows. When you get to extras, I recommend: The Chant is so loud ATEEZ at Kpoplux Sbs Concert in Madrid (short) and [Fancam] Break the Wall the best fanchant at Kcon LA 2023 (has comments superimposed on screen from those who attended including non-atiny)
This whole album is epic and the trailers still give me goosebumps. So many songs from the World series ended up in my top twenty and one from this album is number three...
Guerilla is insane live! We Atiny shout Break The Wall. And I mean shout. The videos you watched didn’t even touch on how loud we get. The members have even said they can’t hear their in ears and have to dance by our shouts and memory. Their concerts are just incredible. I hope you get to see it for yourself one day. They are performance kings for a reason.
Love your reactions and analysis to Ateez. You need to do some live concert versions of Guerilla to get the real vibe of how much Atiny LOVE this song!
You always remember your first comeback, Ice on My Teeth is gonna be up there for me because it was mine! (even though I haven't listened to the rest of the album yet lol)
Thank you, Guerilla is Ateez song with the Epic Break the Wall chant, Coachella is an awesome live concert, the Break the Wall chant could be heard throughout the Coachella, Hongjoon does do the Metal scream
Hongjoong does scream on the later concerts flag version but he doesn't make the fry metal scream from the mv! Which btw he said it wasn't him either, maybe a producer or someone they hired plus maybe a saturator like someone said that can make the scream sound like that Would be so cool if someday he learns how to do it! Ah also Hongjoong said for the screamo he got inspired by Take a look Around by Limp bizkit! And he didn't say it but I think he also probably got inspired by Guerrilla Radio by Rage Against the Machine bc it was in one of his recommended playlist! And well the title and message is similar so👀 Btw! Back to the mv, what you hear at the beggining of the disease is human emotion, it's from the speech a character from the movie Equilibrium says, that also is their main inspiration for this mv and part of the storyline! As well the Metropolis, and the art deco thing you mentioned with Guerrilla spelled it's the same as the Metropolis Bilinsky poster from Metropolis, I think it was german expressionism. And well ofc also inspired by 1984, Blade Runner, the books by Philip K. Dick like Eye on the sky and a lot more media more present through all the albums which I love! And the cool scene with the flags and smoke is probably inspired from Iron by Woodkid! :)
One more thing! Guerrilla originally was called Coup D'etat but they changed it bc it sounded dangerous and too strong.. It's funny bc they performed it on the Blue House so to perform it there with a name meaning to overthrow the government..It's funny but they could have had problems and I mean even with the current title and meaning is pretty self explanatory but could have been worse. Even recently when their dumbass president announced the martial law ktinys were saying to not mention them and joking about overthrowing the government and such bc they could have been in serious trouble. But anyways, after it was over and ppl were protesting for his impeachment lot of fans were there and playing k-pop songs too including Wave, and Guerrilla was played on the site of the national assembly :D
This EP hits me hard because I'm brazilian, yk? really im not being dramatic but reminds me a revolutionary rage. All bc I was born in a country that suffered a 21-year dictatorship due to a military coup and the resistance was present beyond the armed struggle or the fear of being killed, the resistance was marked by music. I dare say that brazilians survived through culture, in a country where their son could disappear at any moment for fighting for his rights, in a country where to this day the whereabouts of some who were tortured are unknown, in a country where they invaded music festivals to arrest and torture those artists who sang against that violence, art became resistance. So for me, this whole story of ATEEZ's lore and the constant reflection of a distressed society that needs to open its eyes, that needs to find its freedom and ATEEZ coming as a guerrilla spreading through music a message of listen, look, write, open your eyes and break the wall... It makes total sense to me and to other countries that have gone through or are still going through a dictatorship.
Fun Fact, Seonghwa was the one that Suggested the Break the Wall Scream in the Ending. They mentioned it an Interview, which is so cool of him ngl😭 He has a serious appreciation for Rock and Hip Hop, as they all do with The World Albums😫
If you are planning on checking out the Coachella performance I definitely recommend reacting to the second weekend, it had better camerawork and personally I feel like the members definitely took it to another level on then. 😊
Also, when you get to Halaiza, keep in mind that song is written with the perspective of the victims/people, not Ateez's/Halateez point of view. That's why the EP is called 'from the witness'
omg the world era! im so excited 😭 the world ep 1 album is so good, every song suits the vibe of the album very well. my personal favorites are 'the ring' and 'where do i go' but i love the whole album so so so much. and yep, demon line went crazy on this era. hongjoong with black and white hair (or how we call it, oreo hair) is definitely the reason why i joined the cult lmao anw thank you so much for reacting, i love it a lot!
The concept is directly referencing the movie with Christian Bale called Equilibrium. It’s literally the exact same words they use in the movie. If you watch that movie, you'll 100% understand what's going on in this dimension. They pay homage to it.
I had to many goosebumps when this came out and thanks to you I have them again excited to see your reaction ❤ Ateez lore has been planned for a long time so I think the Kingdom performance was just a spoiler for this. Little art history lesson I guess: in the MV where they were holding the flag with the white background it resembles the painting Liberty Leading the People by Eugène Delacroix. meaning: "Liberty Leading the People depicts a woman personifying Liberty leading a group of people forward over the bodies of the fallen, holding the French tricolor flag aloft. The painting captures the moment of a revolution, where the people have taken up arms against the government, and are fighting for their freedom."
@@SylverReacts also if you google Metropolis movie poster by Boris Bilinsky you will see where Ateez got the inspiration for the scene where they dance and Guerrilla is big in the background Summary of the movie: In a futuristic city sharply divided between the working class and the city planners, the son of the city's mastermind falls in love with a working-class prophet who predicts the coming of a savior to mediate their differences.
YESS we made it to the world series!! fully agree that hongjoong slayed the oreo hair👌the demon line really be unleashing their inner demons especially during this era haha! can’t wait for you to dive in even more🤩 love your reaction and analysis as always, take care too!
FINALLY. 🎉🎉🎉 I waited so long for you to come to these days. 🥹When you loved other albums so much, I was wondering how World ep1 would react when you listened to this album.
For an official video instead of a fancam where you can hear the fan chant for break the wall really loud. I recommend this video: th-cam.com/video/B6WGuHAJzao/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-D0UfycwGOaH8GDD It’s the best example of it.
welcome to the cult era of being an atiny lol 😂
Lol Pirates -> Cult, only a natural progression 🤣
Dude, you HAVE to see the live versions of guerrilla because this song was made to be played in STADIUMS with the fans at the show SCREAMING LIKE CRAZY
I mainly recommend the Coachella version but the versions from other concerts are great too
We're definitely going to be doing concert version in our The World Suggestions videos and Coachella as soon as we've covered the full set list!

There are concerts where hongjoong performed the screaming part in guerilla a few times. And coachella did it in week 2. Coachella guerilla performance was very good.
You've found one of the top two best albums in their discography
The Coachella version of Guerilla is also amazing and you can really hear Atiny shouting “break the wall!”
I'm looking forward to it!
You should have seen Hongjoong’s guerilla rock version. He had his electric guitar 🎸! It was awesome!!!!!!!!! He killed it with the guitar!
This album is SO good man it makes me want to run away screaming

You can see that in the Rhythm Ta performance there is the name "Awakening of Summer" which is the same name that goes into the trailer 1 for The World series.
Ah yeah that's where that subtitle came from, I was getting a lot of "I know that phrase, but I don't know why I know it" from that!
@ yeah, I remember when this trailer came out I immediately went to the Kingdom performance to check and was mindblown by it! It was then that I started to understand just how intricate their lore is

Thank you for watching! I'm so glad you've been enjoying it and I'm pumped for the new era ❤️
The old man is Left Eye, all of this is in their official lore released in albums
Hongjoong only started foing the scream live recently during Coachella and continued doing it in their Towards The Light tour concerts afterwards
Oooh looking forward to checking the Coachella set out!
@SylverReacts th-cam.com/video/_SJn072gHHE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1qrSISom2nc7-hQa
Hongjoong has only performed the scream live a couple of times out of concern for his throat.
That makes sense, it's gotta be tough to perform like that

I can’t even begin to relate on that level with it, but I think it’s just amazing that music can have that kind of power ❤️❤️
