Sir, I think you are a well-bred young man, very polite and natural. I enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for your whole video trip on South England. You speak German, English....do you speak another foreign language? Thanks a lot for introduce your EDC gear. I so love EDC themes. Amazing photos.
Hello Tobis, alas, yes you did. The exhibition features all of Fox Talbots early experiments and photography. There is usually a photography exhibition on in the gallery as well. I hope you enjoy the remainder of your time in Britain. Regards terry
@@TobisTingsI kept thinking why Potter and no mention of Fox Talbot, birthplace of British photography! Very naughty of you Tobias. They also have a great collection of cameras in the museum, worth spending some time there, next time perhaps. Regards.
Another great video. Combe is pronounced Coom as in "Broom". Also, the National Trust (The Acorn Symbol) own a lot of houses and land. You will pay to go into the properties but the land is generally free to have access. So, you were not trespassing when you went through the gate, it's a public footpath but you will find a pay desk to enter the house. We have annual membership of the National Trust which gives us free parking at any of their car parks and feee access to all the properties . This is really useful in Dorset as a lot of beaches have NT car parks, especially around Studland etc. As a NT member you also get a 10% discount in many outdoor clothing shops.
Yo Tobias I am really enjoying this series. It’s cool to see what someone from another country thinks of the place where I live, especially when we are constantly told the grass is always greener…
I have been enjoying the heck out of your guys South England trip with these vlogs! And omg is that Professor Slughorn's house at 10:04? That's so cool! HP nerd here.
Another great one 👍🏻 loving the edc update.. didn't see a torch/flashlight I never travel without one. Btw I bet if you wrote " Harry potter" in the title you would have a billion views by now .
Thanks! Yeah, my bad. I was actually carrying the Nitecore Tini2 - my go to flashlight during the summer. I just somehow forgot to include it in the EDC segment. Sidenote: I also had a Lumintop FWAA Ti with my that I carried on a few day (mostly when camping). Plus I always have a Olight Seeker 2 Pro in my backpack. I might just give the Harry Potter thing a try :D ... would be a bit misleading though.
We've been to the Cotswolds in June this year, we stayed for 4 nights at the Manor House in Castle Combe, but we also visited many neighbouring villages. It was wonderful and we were so lucky with the weather! Hope you enjoyed!
Loved it. We were really lucky with the weather. So many beatiful spots in the area and history behind every stone and building you see. We didn't even scratch the surface though.
Yeah another cool video man. Country style coffees in UK are never great lol. Hence you FW looked more like a Cap. Homemade cakes should be nice tho 👍🏻😂 Love the Cotswolds.
Thanks! We loved all the homemade cakes, scones etc. Some went a bit hard on the sugar with their cakes but still delicious. Would love to spend more time in the Cotswolds.

Amazing photos.
Laycock Abbey was the home of Fox Talbot, one of the inventors of photography.
Well... looks like we seriously missed out by not visiting the museum. Thanks for letting me know.

Thanks for the heads up. Interesting stuff and the NT Membership is fairly cheap as well. Good stuff! :)

Thanks! And yes, hats off to you! There will be more HP filming locations in the next video. :)
My neck of the woods ... enjoy!
It was beautiful. And we only saw the most obvious touristy parts. I bet there are hidden gems everywhere.
The Leatherman PS4 is also the one thing I never leave home without
