Shine appears on Motörhead’s album ‘Another Perfect Day’. Originally released on Bronze Records on 4th June 1983, produced by Tony Platt. The line up on this album was Lemmy, Brian ‘Robbo’ Robertson and Philthy Animal Taylor.

Shine is a perfect example of Brian Robertson's pass from Motorhead.
With his guitar virtuosity he made them more melodic without losing any of their power.
Such a pitty this album is so underrated
NO UNDERRATED. THE BEST
Robertson's soiree with Head was a complete disaster for the band. And somehow a half decent album came out of a partnership which was doomed from the start

Another Perfect Day is a fine album. Pity it's little appreciated.
Most motorhead albums are under appreciated. People talk about Overkill like it's the second coming of christ and ignore everything that came after iron fist.

The musical direction that Robbo's addition to Motorhead indicated, would have been a fascinating one. Its a shame it did not continue. He brought a different level of songwriting and musicality to the classic Motorhead sound.
well, i would say stage 1: white line fever+ lost johnny ... pure genius 2 number one stage 2: all of live in hammersmiths pure genius number 2 3: then "another perfect day" , the whole stuff, pure genius number 3. Well, that's a fucking strike. After.. well, sounds the albums after 1985 where just to pay the bills and keep the band moving on.. legend was built... I'm fine with that... you cannot have a genius idea every minute of your life.

Robbo didn't want to play any of motorheads previous songs ...so if he stood most likely ace of spades, overkill wouldn't have been great songs for fans to have heard and enjoy ...which that was one of lemmy problem with robbo he just didn't want to play motorheads music just another perfect day songs which the fans wanted to hear the classic motorhead songs which we all love till this day ...

@@vandalking8341 where'd you hear that, I read where it said Lemmy and robbo didn't get along as Robbo wanted to do things his way when doing live shows and Lemmy didn't like it, but I always loved his guitar work with Thin Lizzy and on this album

I really dig this album! So many of Motorhead albums are overshadowed by "Ace of Spades" and "Iron Fist". I like everything up to "Another Perfect Day". And then after that, I lost interest. Don't get me wrong. Lemmy was a legend alive, and now is being he passed on. R.I.P. to you Lemmy. He deserves nothing but respect. Thanks for your never ending influence on bands! Especially punk rock, speed metal and thrash metal! The mark Lemmy left on the music scene is hugely undeniable.
