I had to look up Whistling Past the Graveyard because any book with Graveyard gets my attention. It sounds interesting. I read the Indigo Girl & The Lost Bookshop last year and really enjoyed them.
Maybe you should do a big All the Colors of the Dark readalong! I didn't vote for that one because I wanted to pick something I've already read, but I'd be down to buddy read that one with anyone and everyone!
It will probably be a patreon option in one of the upcoming months. I have heard such good things, but also a few people didn't love it. That makes for a good book club book!
The top three i enjoyed from your cart were Homecoming, The Wish (have tissues at hand), and The Five People You Meet in Heaven. But you have so many great titles. Thank you for sharing! Happy reading!
How fun! So many exciting books! I just got The Fox Wife for my birthday! I’d love to buddy read it at some point throughout the year, if you’re up to it. Haha no worries about The Little Prince, it'll show up! (It isn't on the gr list to vote for though!)
Wow! You have everything so organized! Great job! I've been working on my book cart, too, and I hope to use your flip and roll game again this year. I just need to get myself organized! 😂
Oh me too. I just have these separate from the rest of my shelves as a way to highlight them. I will probably only get to about 40% of them by the end of the year. It's just a fun way to see what people want me to read off my shelves.
📚I’ve added Theo of Golden to my Amazon cart! Looks fabulous! I haven’t yet read the Lisa See book on your list, but I really enjoy her books. Snow Flower and the Secret Fan is one of my all time favorites. Looking forward to hearing what you think of all these books as the year progresses!
I had to keep playing your mention of books, cause I kept missing the one I picked out for you I was doing something else and every time I looked away that is when you mentioned the book The Baker's Secret. I finally got to concentrate and saw it. I read What She Left Behind by Ellen Marie Wiseman, very good book, the other you have on the cart I will have to make sure they are on my tbr, for I love her books, they are so different and can't put down books at times.
I have SO MANY of the bks. you mentioned. The last bought being The Foundling by Ann Leary & The Wedding Dress Sewing Circle by Jennifer Ryan. Love J.R. collecting all her bks. I read 2 of hers yrs. ago and something strange.Maybe 3 or so months ago I read The Underground Library by her, borrowed from local library. When I went to order it on Amazon, said would not be published til such & such and I had to Pre-order !!!! How can that be when I already read it??? Any thoughts? So, my reading plan for 2025 is to read ONLY books from my shelves that I already own. Jenn's Reading Life is doing that challenge. Basically that's it, but there are exceptions for when you can buy. I already have 4 LARGE tote bags filled and set in order to read. THAT probably will change up. Question: where do you buy a cart you can fit 75 bks. on??? My carts definitely can't get 75 on. I understand about different sizes, but ?? Thanks Krista!
@ have you started Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop? I saw you mention it and went on a search for it around my house (it took 4 days to find) so I’m going to start it soon. 😊
I loved The Wedding Dress Circle, Legends and Lattes, and Assistant to the Villain. They all made a favorites of the year list. I am having to keep pausing - you have so many good books on your cart! Homecoming, At Bertram's Hotel, Every One In My Family Has Killed Someone and The 100 Year Old Man are all great. This is going to be such a hard vote!
A lot of these are on my want to read for this year also. They were also on last year and I didn't get to them. Like Caroline, Peach Blossom Spring, The Arctic Fury and Bellewether. Maybe we will both get to them this year.
Wow, so many. Unfortunately I don’t do anything on Goodreads. They drive me nuts. But if I could vote, there I would pick Island Of Sea Women by Lisa Sea. I love that book 😊
I read child of the river about 2 yrs ago. It wasn't a favorite of mine, but I hope u enjoy it. A lineage of grace is very good❤❤❤. Sons of encouragement by Francine rivers is on my TBR for this year. I also have the lady's mine. Mitch albom books are great. Five people you meet in heaven is very good. Stranger in the lifeboat is good too.
📚📚so many books!! living that here as well - makes it hard to pick the next one!! 📚📚 happy reading! my current reads are 'Persuasion' by Jane Austen and 'Pack Up Your Troubles' by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles ( last one in the War at Home series )
That's why I still do a tbr each month. I get overwhelmed with all the choices so I need to narrow it down a bit. I hope you're loving Persuasion. That's my favorite Austen.
I’m not sure how to vote on GR 😅 but these get my top votes! 📚 *Hyunam-dong Bookshop (YAY! author sounds like “Bo-Rum”) *The Letter Tree *Island of Sea Women (based on real life sea women of Jeju, South Korea) 📚 🎉
Hmmmm. When you click on that link you should see the list. There should be a place to the right that says "vote for this book". It might be underneath the book not to the right. I can't add your votes because my "vote" was adding them to the list and I can't vote more than once. BUT. I know I'm reading the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop this month and definitely want to read The Letter Tree. Not sure if I'll get to the Lisa See, but I'll try!
Regarding the Abby Jimenez books, The Friend Zone is the first of the series and Happy Ever After Playlist is the second. You should read them in order. Regarding Christian books, have you ever read Elizabeth Camden? I really enjoy her books. She mostly writes historical fiction/romance, but is beginning to venture into contemporary stories. Her stories usually focus on very interesting, lesser known developments in U.S. history. For instance like the development of the Library of Congress or the early rivalry between the two wire services, the AP and Reuters. She is a Christian author but it's a very light sprinkling in her books for those who aren't into having religious topics in their stories. (I tend to be in that group.) So, I really enjoy them and I know you will too. I've only read two, but she has plenty more and I've been collecting them little by little. The ones I've read are: Beyond All Dreams and A Dangerous Legacy.
Thanks. I knew the order of the Jiminez books but forgot while filming. haha. I will read them in order. I don't know if I've read an Elizabeth Camden book. I don't have any on my shelves. She sounds like an author I would like.
I had to look up Whistling Past the Graveyard because any book with Graveyard gets my attention. It sounds interesting.
I read the Indigo Girl & The Lost Bookshop last year and really enjoyed them.
Glad to hear you liked a couple of these. I have heard mixed things about Whistling...so I'm eager to check that out for myself.
Maybe you should do a big All the Colors of the Dark readalong! I didn't vote for that one because I wanted to pick something I've already read, but I'd be down to buddy read that one with anyone and everyone!

Nice! I would love to get to a Kate Morton this year. I haven't read her in a few years. She's one I'd like to read to 0.
The Seven Year Slip was so amazing- it deals a lot with grief, so make sure you ate in the right place for it.
I am excited to give her a second chance.
@BooksAndJams I have read Seven Year Slip and A Novel Love Story. The first one- 5 stars. The second-2.5
How fun! So many exciting books! I just got The Fox Wife for my birthday! I’d love to buddy read it at some point throughout the year, if you’re up to it. Haha no worries about The Little Prince, it'll show up! (It isn't on the gr list to vote for though!)

I love a good spreadsheet! haha.
I’m so glad the Letter Tree made this on here too, because that’s the other one I wanted to suggest too. ☺️
I remember you loving that one. I absolutely want to read it!
The Kitchen Front is really really good!
I definitely plan on getting to that one.
I'm excited that you're excited! So many good recs!
SO many good reads ahead of me!
Very organized! I'm a bit overwhelmed by this...I'm definitely not a year at a time person 🤣, one or two months at a time for me.
Oh me too. I just have these separate from the rest of my shelves as a way to highlight them. I will probably only get to about 40% of them by the end of the year. It's just a fun way to see what people want me to read off my shelves.
What a wonderful way to have your TBR love the cart idea! So many great looking books🤩🫶🏻📚
Thanks! I am excited to dive in to so many of these!
Homecoming by Kate Moreton was good I listened to it through my local library app.
Sweet. I will probably listen to the majority of these!
Your spread sheet is amazing! I would think it took along time to get it so organized.
It did take time, but setting it up was easy because I just used the same columns I've been using for the past 6 years or so! haha.
I look forward to reading all these books as the year progresses! Thanks.
I see so many books I’d love to read-and are on my bookshelf
Love it!
Love to have all those books!
I'm very excited about the cart this year.
Love the selection of books on your TBR cart!
Me too! I think I say that every year, but I'm especially excited this year. Hoping to get to many of them.
❤📚❤. Some great picks!! I put a few to the top of my reading list from your recs!!
Nice! Glad a few stood out to you. I'm excited about the cart this year.
Love this video so many I've read and so many that I would love to read!!!!! 📚
Sweet! Me too. haha. I am excited about the cart this year.
So many of my favorites in your piles. It'll be fun watching you whittle this down! I just started The Frozen River and I'm really enjoying it.
📚❤️📚
So glad you're enjoying The Frozen River!
The Foundling is really good.
It sounds like a good one.
Heading over right now. So many great pics some of which I've loved.
There are a TON of great picks this year.
Oh, Krista! So many of these books interest me. I could live in that room😊📚❤️
I do kind of live in this room. haha.
So many good books here!! I’m excited for your reading year! ❤📚📚📚
Me too! Thanks, Bron.
🎉🎉 nice cart choices!
I think so too! Eager to get reading.
Looks like your going to have a great reading year! 💕📚
Thanks! I think so, too!
Love this❤ It will be so fun to watch throughout the year which ones get to and what your thoughts are on them.
I love doing this project every year. Glad you are enjoying it too!
So many of the books on you cart are on my TBR and a few of them I have read and enjoyed. I can't wait for you to read my book recommendation!!!!📚🔖🤩
Thanks, Sharon! I am so excited to dive into these reads.
loving it!
3 books I loved were The Spellshop, No Two Persons, and The Lost Bookshop.
I definitely think I'll love those ones too! 🤞
Great list of books!!!
I am so excited about it!
I had to keep playing your mention of books, cause I kept missing the one I picked out for you I was doing something else and every time I looked away that is when you mentioned

Yes. Ellen Marie Wiseman is so good! I am excited to read her to zero...maybe this year if I can get to all 3.
I really liked the Two Lives of Lydia Byrd by Josie Silver but didn't see it on the list so am adding it here
It is "on the cart" but I could only put 100 books on the GR list and there are 130 on the cart.

You have such a good selection! I definitely want to read some of the books you have on your shelf but I’m such a mood reader it’s hard.
I agree. It's a great cart this year.
@ have you started Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop? I saw you mention it and went on a search for it around my house (it took 4 days to find) so I’m going to start it soon. 😊

I think I say it every year, but this year I really think it's the best cart ever! So many that I want to read soon!
📚So many good books! I’m heading over to good reads.
Sweet! I love seeing the ones that come to the top.
I've only read a handful of the books on your cart, but I've heard about quite a few of them and am very interested to hear your thoughts. 📚
Thank, Vivian. I'm excited to get going with my 2025 reading!
📚 Happy reading Krista!
Thanks, Beverly!
Yay! Julie Klassen! She's one of my favorites!❤
I haven't read her in so long!
Some great book recommendations!
I agree! Looking forward to diving into many of these!
A lot of these are on my want to read for this year also. They were also on last year and I didn't get to them. Like Caroline, Peach Blossom Spring, The Arctic Fury and

Nice. We do have a lot of overlap. Happy reading!
Great video📚❤
Thanks so much!
I may have cheered when you showed Ship of Magic!
Somehow I'm not surprised! haha.
Wow, so many. Unfortunately I don’t do anything on Goodreads. They drive me nuts. But if I could vote, there I would pick Island Of Sea Women by Lisa Sea. I love that book 😊
No worries. I know many people don't use GR. No problem.
Thanks for your thoughts on some of these! It's so helpful to me when deciding!
Love it!
📚 have a great reading year 2025! I am currently reading, on Audible, All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker.
I will if I stick to these books! I love the cart this year. So exciting. HOpe you're loving All the COlors.
I dnfd the Lost book of Elenor Dare…it was not what I was expecting by far.
It's one I haven't heard much about. What made you DNF?
📚📚so many books!! living that here as well - makes it hard to pick the next one!! 📚📚 happy reading! my current reads are 'Persuasion' by Jane Austen and 'Pack Up Your Troubles' by Cynthia Harrod-Eagles ( last one in the War at Home series )

@@BooksAndJamsThank you so much for your help! Turns out it was the app that wasn’t working. Voted on the website! This was so fun! 🤩
Stack of books
Love being surrounded by books 📚 📚📚
It's the best!
I'm not sure how the voting works. Do we have to be "friends"? It wasn't clear to me when I clicked through to the link.
I’m not sure either. It only gave me the option to add the books to my own TBR
There should be a place where it says "vote for this book". That's what you need to click. Sorry if that's not working.
@@BooksAndJams I wonder if it's a matter of being on the website vs. the app. I'll check on my laptop later. I'd like to vote!! 😆
@@heatherdegreeff1092 Yes, I bet that's it. The GR app is the worst! haha
@@BooksAndJams Mystery solved, you have to do it on the website. At least on the Android app, there is no 'vote' button.

Read the cart from top to bottom.
If only! haha.
Ru you going to review all of them or nust the 6..
I will in the months that I read them.
I tried to add you as a friend on Goodreads but it would not work. I will try again later. I can't wait to see what you are reading. 📚
Hmmm. Not sure why it didn't work.
@BooksAndJams it is ok. I will try again later.
