I love this civic. This color. This year. I know it’s personal preference cuz it’s your car, but not the biggest fan of a hood dump on a civic. I think it should just have an exhaust. Also just cuz it’ll make the lines of the car look cleaner. Especially since you’re going to put a new hood on it anyway
Correct me if im wrong but if you are using an AEM sensor as a map sensor it should be a stainless steel varient, not the brass. The brass sensor is only good for like a boost gauge. My evo has an AEM infinity and I run the AEM 5 bar for the map and brass for the boost gauge.
Hyped for the build up of the vehicle. Not too long of a series, and mostly done. I'm sure small updates will be coming. Ultra happy this turned out as good as it did

I saw a guy do his own mandrel bends on youtube and it wasn't *that* hard I think you could pull it off Trevor. It's a little involved but I think if you had a little station setup for it it could be streamlined to some extent. He filled the exhaust tube he was bending with sand and welded a cap on both ends, then heated the pipe red hot over a fire and bent it. The sand inside kept it from collapsing, and it came out with a nice bend.
Glad to see you buttoning up the last few things on it. I would be pulling that box and axles before you scrap the parts car. Get on the hunt for parts for the awd swap would be sweet to see it continue and get an awd conversion
Important that you caught that map sensor issue right away, got the oil return & hood dump done. Super good info on pie cuts & the mounts should help the axle situation! SWEEEET
I love your videos bro, quick thought. Many youtubers blur out speedo, ya know legal reasons. Might be a good idea to do the same so you wont have trouble in the future. Keep up the bad ass work you do man. Truly amazing and entertaining work you do.
MonkeyFab makes some nice rings for those exhaust dumps! hit him up. i much prefer the OEM shifter over any 'short shifter' (most are just shorter, nothing about the shift). i really did like the B&M shifter + 3" extension and a weighted knob (ITR style, skunk2 usually).
a way you can help that vibration on the doors and the roof is put some dynamat strips on them, just a few spots should be plenty, it won't solve 100% but it will help with that really loud vibrations, it will seem less like it`s going to fall apart. turbo civic life is rough, miss my ek so much.
Probably just upgrade the shifter bushings with poly ones before you install that you'll probably be happy. I am gonna start working on a EK sedan with an H swap that I just bought for my first Honda.
He told me he's taking his time with it, researching and getting everything planned out first. But me personally, I think it's going to end up like the RV/Van/Mustang/Mercedes. No way he's going to get to it with all these other projects plus future projects incoming. I could be wrong.
I beleive those motor mounts are Yonaka polyurethane tuner series mounts they definitely give increase vibration and help liven the feel of spirited driving imo. And the billet torque mounts are a wicked extra touch! Look at rywire budget b series ek tuck harnesses.. they’re about 400$ cdn new all raychem loomed they also offer milspec options and all their harnesses come with obd1 ecu connectors so you won’t need a jumper for your s300 anymore. Love the Honda content keep er coming !
Now surely when you blow up that D a built K20 will be making an appearance? 🤔👌 Also I think the Supra is in need of some PFI love and get that thing running 9's. 😉
I have to admit I don’t really get the whole hood exit thing, much prefer an exotic sounding exhaust but I enjoy watching from an engineering point of view and glad you got it fixed
it's the easier way out tbh. if you want to build a free flowing exhaust for 500+ hp youre gonna have to have a big diameter wich can be harder to snake through the car and you'll scrape it on everything. a hood exit has next to no resistance but the side effects are pretty severe from being obnoxiously lound, illegal allmost anywhere in the world and allso letting rainwater pool in your exhaust housing or inside the manifold, deending on turbo orientation, if you leave it outside which is not ideal.

Rear mount is the most important one for engine rotation. I had 3 solid poly mounts in my car. But then installed the rear mount and wow. Solid now

You need a mr2 next, they are really light.
Make sure you bring at least 2 extra axles if you’re going to the track ! And put some street slicks on it
