The exams get a refresh every January 1st to reflect the current calendar year's code sets. To study for the CPC exam in 2025, you’ll need the 2025 ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II books. These are essential for both studying and taking the exam. You can sign up for the exam directly on the AAPC website at www.aapc.com.

The healthcare system in Australia is entirely different from the U.S., so while having your CPC is a great accomplishment, you’ll need to look into certifications, guidelines, and requirements specific to Australia.
