Random thought mid way through, i know you don't like the vaseline method so much for clearing away a cut crease - i saw another YT'er use a cleansing balm instead? as its an oil base it cuts through the colour no problem. But instead of using a cotton bud, it was a makeup wipe iirc over a pair of tweezers? so you get the sharp line from the edge of the weezer, and the removal with the cleansing balm & wipe. I haven't tried it myself yet but maybe something to consider

This was a great idea for a video, fitting considering that we're here for something as frivolous (in the grand scheme of things, don't hate me for this lol) as makeup. You're right, both you and I are white Scottish and will never be on the receiving end of racism. I have friends of various ethnicities and to witness both the overt and subconscious racism they experience, brings out a rage monster in me. As humans we are all guilty of prejudices we often don't know we have but that is why the phrase "check your privilege" resonates with me. This was a great idea for a video, fitting considering that we're here for something as frivolous (in the grand scheme of things, don't hate me for this lol) as makeup.
You're right, both you and I are white Scottish and will never be on the receiving end of racism. I have friends of various ethnicities and to witness both the overt and subconscious racism they experience, brings out a rage monster in me. As humans we are all guilty of prejudices we often don't know we have but that is why the phrase "check your privilege" resonates with me.
You were very articulate in your intro, so don't feel you have to cut yourself short when you're making a great point! Xx

I appreciate that you did your research before saying anything, and if it took a bit of extra time, better that than just jumping to a side without knowing the facts (although generally you can jump to the side of "black people are in fact people" without a ton of research, I'm from the US so it's always right in our faces and we can't imagine being outside of the battlefield of the racial issues).
