I've discovered the unsolved album and it changed my world. So many years ago but it keeps to give my lonely times a meaning that so few can understand, a few can feel
small fires is such a master piece! I didn't find an equivalent band (Karate) and such a song writter... A lot are good but Geoff has something special...
Well this is a classic early Karate. For those of you who have not seen Geoff's Karate.. it's another face. He can play electric and create moods that are pretty different from this. Awesome stuff.
Karate's record label Southern Records sucks, it barely offered any promotion of the band whatsoever while it was active, and refuses to reissue the highly sought after and valuable vinyl, they made only one pressing for each record. Today you can purchase a used copy of Unsolved 2x LP for $270 before shipping on Discogs, that is absurd. Karate has a very passionate fan base and any new pressings of their studio or live albums would sell really well. I was just on the Southern Records web page and they don't even list contact information anymore. Oh also Karate's music is not made available on any streaming service by request of the band, so it is less and less likely that new generations of music lovers will discover Karate and Geoff's amazing compositions. It is a shame.

Welcome to the cloud dude!
The Bed Is In The Ocean is a killer too. A bit more uptempo, but just as precise.
Thanks you for sharing, we must do our best to leave a trace of these awesome heritage in music...

This is as far from “early Karate” as it gets. Unsolved was their fourth album. And this is obviously from long after the band broke up.
So good!
Thank you. pop
very good music
bob dylan of our generation. unfortunately (or fortunately?) the music industry is so broken that he is not world wide known. yet.
