Very well done, Jess. I'm working an alluvial deposit in Nevada that apparently has never had a steady stream, only periodic flood conditions. The gold and black sand areas have consolidated and the black sand has partially oxidized from iron sulfide to iron oxide and requires further crushing to liberate the gold. Now I understand why there are so many independent layers of these same conditions. You taught me some important stuff!
Take it to a geologist or a good prospector or get it surveyed in a mine lab or take it in to a prospecting equipment store nearby you if there's one. It's not much use at all really sending people photos and asking them to analyse it from that.
How does one determine a estimate for value $$ in a placer. Ive seen so many guys say one thing and do another or say one thing and be completely WRONG 😂 Tomorrow i guess ill start trenching and poking holes. 🤷
Great info Jess ! Just like back in school. Is there going to be a test ? Lol. Can’t get enough

Good golly. This series of videos would have saved me years of learning had it been available back in the 60's.
