David, congrats on finally delivering the vessel to it's new home. I hope its close to you- so daysails are reasonable (think 1/2 hour commute?) and gittin' her fit for say a week beyond the bay is relatively easy. Completion. How satisfying. 8,000 miles solo as an intro to your boat. Quite an accomplishment.
Thanks David. I am in southern NC and the boat is north of Baltimore. So no, I will not be seeing much of her until October when I bring her back to NC. Having a co-owner to me is a blessing by reducing the cost. But also I don't have to worry about hurricanes during the summer with the boat that far north. I will have the boat from October to May, and my partner from May to October. I still have my 21' Hobie for summer fun.
