60 plus NC resident here. I really enjoyed this video. As a lifetime sailor and powerboater it inspires me to get planning on a way to make a new adventure happen. Keep going.

I have to whole heartedly agree. Sailing solo the 7000 NM I have is something not everyone can claim to have done. I love my wife dearly, but she refuses to accompany me on a blue water voyage. We use to sail the Pamlico Sound in NC, and you would lose sight of land in the middle of it. She was overly bothered by it since the average depth was only 22 feet. So if the boat sank, she could sit on a spreader and still be out of the water. :-)
