FLYING THROUGH TURBULENCE WHILE SETTING UP FOR AN APPROACH INTO CHARLESTON / POPUP IFR WAS NEEDED

Welcome back everyone and thank you for riding flying with me. I hope on this flight you have your seat belts fastened as we fly through some bumpy turbulence on our approach into Charleston. But before that we were instructed to hold over Berkeley County Airport while Tower was trying there best to get some airliners in before an approach storm. At this time, I was flying VFR, but when it looks like Tower wasn’t going to approve use to land anytime soon, it was time to get a popup IFR. After receiving our clearance, it was time to go to work and set up the GPS for the approach on to the RNAV (GPS) Approach for RWY 21. Everything was going fast, trying to stay ahead of the airplane and set up everything since we were just a few miles away from the field. Charleston Tower was great getting us in, and I really appreciated you guy / gales in there. Set back and enjoy the adventure as we make our way back into CHS.
