***** Bent Annick is one of my favorite tracks by him so I definitely hear ya there, I love the use of the Speak and Spell thing too on the album haha, Winter in the Belly of a Snake is incredible man, I have been listening to it a lot recently, Tattoo, Cashew, Suffocate and Icosikaipent have been playing constantly the past week lol. My favorite albums have switched up a bit but I still gotta say Doll Doll Doll is my favorite, Chocolate Wheelchair, Cavalcade of Glee and Winter in the Belly are definitely up there though! Yeah I agree, glad you like VS dude! Aphex should do more Breakcore tracks imo, have you heard Laughable Butane Bob by him?
***** Definitely one of his best albums man, super tempted to make a channel dedicated to his music lol, I'd do like Top 10 / 5 tracks from each album and review them all, I couldn't find a single review on TH-cam for any of his albums... D: I'm sure he'll put something new out this year, 2001-2002 he put out 6 albums LOL. Yeah Aphex certainly has his own style, as much as I love Snares, Aphex did make my favorite song of all time haha th-cam.com/video/ihyQf8mww3o/w-d-xo.html
***** I agree man, I Care Because You Do was on par with Selected Ambient Tracks 85-92 imo. Yeah I saw it on one of his YUNOREVIEW videos, hoping Snares' next album gets more hype so Anthony and others do proper reviews for it haha. I'm almost certain he'll put something out this year, he released 2 full albums last year (If you include Poemss) and in 2012 I think he did 3 ep's being Fool the Detector, Affectionate and Cubist Reggae, I think he's getting back into the swing of it from his break between My So Called Life and My Love is a Bulldoser, you should check out his instagram, he posts loads of short clips of stuff he's working on, though in the past he has said he releases barely anything he makes so for all we know he could have like 10 albums just sitting there D: Aphex Twin released 155 songs through his Soundcloud the other day, it would be insane if Aaron copied him :D
I think I got about 20 tracks from there, haven't heard them all yet! So cool that he's doing it, shows he doesn't really care about the money :D Oh yeah I'm super hyped for Jenny Death, I actually really liked the first half, I would go as far as to say it's my 2nd favorite release from them! Fingers crossed this one can top it
I actually don't think a guy named aaron funk could do something else but becoming a musician, and one of the best ever, that is ! 8) (thanks aaron, for everything, being yourself, crazy just as needed ^^)
I just wanted to let you guys know that the interviewer isn't Tim Exile. Yeah, that's just some random guy and Tim's the dude doing the music near the beginning
+natsfan1137 "I like it when I smoke the weed, I do not like it when it smokes the me." "What's your favorite weed thing then? Your favorite thing that weed does?" "You know that thing that weed does when you melt into the couch like 'woo-woo?'" "Do you know where that comes from?" "I think that means you're like fuckin' high or something." "That's absolutely right."
Aaron needs to do more interviews, this shit is priceless. I also love how he doesn't give a fuck about everything and rightfully so since everything is nothing how people imagine it.
Holy shit this was hilarious, so glad I saw him live on 25th May but kind of a shame the venue sucked so he only stayed for around an hour. It was still an amazing hour though.
CHECK THIS OUT: What you do is start the Snares interview and scroll the browser page down, so that you can't see the video. Then listen..... *It will become apparent that Snares is actually a stoner high school student named Jerry.
At first I typed a comment talking about how the interviewer is awkward as fuck, but then I realized these interviews would not be as priceless as they are if one side was not totally uncomfortable during taping.
I really want to know about his personal life and his childhood. The vocal samples from Aaron2 and the overall theme of Rossz and Doll Doll Doll portrays a lot of sadness and anger. Probably childhood trauma or abuse. There's literally no info on his personal life on his Wikipedia page.
And there shouldn't be. Aaron is just a person who happens to make music that a lot of people find super interesting. He doesn't owe anyone anything in terms of details of his personal life. If people care as much about that, as they do his art, they should probably form a parasocial relationship with someone else, whose personal life is a deliberate part of their "brand". Aaron is just a musician. Focus on his music. His person is, although interesting and entertaining, not in any way the focus of his work. People should be able to set boundaries between "I make music, I happen to be good at it, people like it, I'd like to continue doing that" and "my person, who I AM, is public, please form an opinion about, not my art, but my PERSON". Just let a dude chop some breaks, no need to get all reality TV about it.
@@hvadkant6066 Many fans including myself will agree that vsanres is a genius and therefore interisting as a person. Its understandable to want to know more about him isnt it?
@@LAF_23 Of course it is! But there's a huge difference between wanting to know more about a musician you like, and sporadic ungrounded speculation about "childhood trauma or abuse". Personally, if that was something that I found directed at me as a musician, it would make me incredibly uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure you as well.
Defenitly one of the wierdest artists around... Hmm. Really wierd. But i like some songs, but his style.. I dont know. He is strange. ;) Too much drugs, probably.
What.. No. I will not. ;) Im not judging. I just think he has done much drugs.. And that can affect how a individual speaks and behave. ;) I have freedom of speech, and freedom of thought. So, *no*, i will not do what you tell me. ;) "Fuck you, i wont do what you tell me." - Zack de la rocha
I'm a teetotaler and I'm pretty weird, I don't think the mind can understand the weirdness of other minds, sort of thing. Has to explain weirdness away with durgs at times. And then some people /do/ do drugs but they would've been pretty fucking weird anyway

- "He's my Bitch"
"Cuz it's gay as fuck" hahahaha I just died, his interviews are the fucking best

Aaron's interview technique is the bomb, too much funny...
I feel like he wants us to think that but I actually cringe more than I laugh, sadly.
Pro tip: you can watch series at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Giovanni Jerome yea, I've been watching on Flixzone} for since november myself :D
