Dear LMB, this presentation was just exquisite! I do think that, not only for reasons of free publicity but also for added prestige, that requesting your channel to do a segment is the way to go. One thing I do appreciate is the fact that they allow you to view and film before the sale starts. Thank you so much for telling the viewers a bit about Cloisonné. This was a collection that fully justifies not only your extraordinary knowledge but also your personal style.
So interesting and may I say, you always dress beautifully in all your shows. Just like in Germany. My Mom walked the dog with nylons and a little heel, always skirts or dresses.
Wow! You made me laugh at 14:33 “I’m not going to lie, Pinocchio is highly collectible”😂. Great line. What a beautiful home with so many interesting pieces. I bet they had spectacular dinner parties! That chandelier was amazing. Thanks for taking us along.
Ohmygoodness such nice quality items. The estate sale was set up so well. The house was so large and everything was displayed well. So shoppable! I can’t believe the homeowner was there to see strangers going through his things. He must have had peace about the current situation. I would have been crying but we all must accept change. I’m sure everything will sell soon. Great video!
I don't know how he did it. He was very gracious and kind to allow me to film his treasures. It's overwhelming with an end of life situation in his household.
LMB was the owner at a point in their life where they were ready to scale down? I say good for them that they were ready to let go of all those possessions. My daughter is a minimalist and doesn’t want much of our stuff and I don’t want her to be stuck getting rid of everything. I hope my husband and I can do this before we are gone.
It’s really like an antiques store . What are estate sales ? With don’t have them in France . Is it when someone is moving or is sadly dead? Great treasures once again . I imagine you had a lot of fun . With love . Dominique die Elsasserin
In Germany, there are companies that buy out the contents of the home. They then sell at flea markets or shops. It's rare that there is an estate sale open to the public.
I loved that California China pattern. So simple and classic. I'm a proud Californian and I really want to add a 'made in California' China set to my collection 🌉
I pickedout my first metal lunchbox at 3 years old...my choice? BATMAN & ROBIN! 🤣🤣 yet again you have brought me to a dream estate sale, ummmm I'll take everything thank you!! My favorite items were the yellow parrots 💛.
Oh my. I believe this is the best estate sale you've visited. I saw many items I have in my own home. Love the Schonbek lighting. Did you notice, the birds, were those Castillian? My goodness such a buy on the Lennox holiday dishes....just packed mine away for the season. Thanks for sharing this sale!

Ann, just now seeing your comment. Thanks for always taking the time to watch the videos and share your thoughts. The chandelier was truly a beauty, but out of my budget. I did have recent luck finding a dreamy one, which will be shared soon.
What a great estate sale. Love the Waterford vase and celery dish you bought. Did you get the pretty Waterford compotes too on the third day? You got an amazing deal on the pretty Lenox Christmas dishes - can't believe how many pieces you were able to get (including serving pieces) for the money. I saw some beautiful furniture I would have loved to buy...and that chandelier, oh my! Thanks for taking us along.
A secretary is a wonderful piece of furniture, I have one in the living room that I used for a dresser and desk when I was growing up, so it has been in use by me for over 70 years! It now houses some china, silver and linens.
The silver plate flatware you found in the drawer is the silver my mother chose for her wedding. She didn't have as large a collection like the one you found. I inherited her crystal, her flatware and china. I found paperwork in the chest that gave me a few more details to ID the silver. The origin is from Prestige but there is a pattern ID "Grenoble Pattern" . The story begins in southern France where the city of Grenoble was founded in the Fourth Century. Many of the Knights followed Count Basil to the First Crusade. In 1099 the Holy Land was won from the Muslims. The story of Count Basil and Heloise, his sweetheart is represented on the Silverware. The Legend is interpreted by the River Tsere, the bridge laden with roses. Even the bridge is symbolized, with a sprig of flowers to represented Heloise. Thank you for letting an older woman tell a story. God bless you and your family. Can't wait for the next video. Sherry from Alabama.
Absolutely love hearing from you about this silver pattern and identification. Did not know the name of the pattern. It is a classic with a great history.
I just love this estate sale. Wonderful treasures and so many beautiful things. Too many items to mention!!!! I did like the crystal and the cornucopia❤ P.S. love your Texas pendant!!
I was wondering how they went about cleaning the chandelier. A monumental job I'm sure. You look very pretty in your maroon blouse and blue willow pieces. 👍💕
i have one of these nachtmann glasses in plum😃 i never knew that is is nachtmann, thank you lady mary beth! i didn‘ t find any waterford in my little german thriftstores, i think, we have so much other manufacturers, so nobody bought waterford.
My parents had the Prestige silverware set, which they hardly ever used. After they passed I decided to use them for everyday. Why not! Side note: I was at a flea market several years ago and found the same set in their wooden cutlery canteen. Bought them on the spot. Love your videos. Learning something every time I watch them.
E S GERMANY, Ernhard Schlegilmilch, or something close to that, one of the same family that founded R S Prussia that I collected for a few years before I started collecting Asian. I inherited some pieces of fostoria American from my parents which was a wedding gift to them. I’ve continued to collect and I love and use all the pieces.
Yes, this is the best one you have brought us. We would like to see more, I'm sure. My momma had a house full of these treasures. There were so many things here that I sold because you can only have so much china, crystal, flatware; not to mention all the smalls she had acquired. I was overwhelmed and could not store it all so I sold most to a few dealers. Of course, I wish now I had kept some things. Oh, this brought back such childhood memories, and I'm 72. Thank you, sweet lady.
Hoping to share the second sale at this home. They have exquisite taste. As I told my friends, “these are my people!”. As you say, we can’t keep it all. I also have regrets over my mother’s estate sale. It was many states away and we were grieving.
I loved this segment! These large Estate Sales are right up my alley! I loved your friends cake plate, it was amazing. Also would have loved the Waterford Compotes. Can’t wait for the next segment.

Was not expecting a $4 Herend find. Glad I turned it over to look at the backstamp. Have found small pieces at a German flea market. Glad you have some in your collection.
