Hadanite is 620 for 1 unit in scanning, divide the number with 620 and if its a number without commas, its units of hadanite. for excample 5580/620 is 9 units of hadanite
@@superschwizer7856which ship you use has a huge impact on finding them. I had been doing pretty good in the C1 Spirit, but then had a super hard time in my brother’s Corsair. The scanning ranges differ. I now use the freelancer max, as it has some REALLY good scanning range. Food for thought.
That information about the scan numbers is very useful! I'm going to try that out shortly. I find hunting for ROC -mineable Hadanite on Aberdeen a pain. It's hard to see (with all the dust) and it requires the special heat suit. Go to Magda. Not only is it pretty to wander around in, but I find Hadanite there in great clusters of 8-14. It doesn't require anything other than a regular spacesuit, either. On my last trip, I mined about 200K worth of Hadanite in 36 minutes (not counting returning to one of the planetary bases to cash that in). Good video - thank you.
Thank you for explaining the scanning aspect of all this. I have watch a few tutorials now and all of them skip over the whole scanning ordeal. That really helps when trying to look for roc material to mine. Awesome job with this tutorial!
Clear guide to mining thanks for your effort. I spent hours flying around Aberdeen not knowing how to search for it properly I normally fly about 1k of the ground hopefully this will improve my yeild I bought a roc and have a cuttie with 2 storage containers so just need hydration and food and will be able to stay out mining for a long time
Today I tried ROC mining just for fun. Gosh, I forgot how painfull grind in Star Citizen is. In 3 hours I got two disconnects (lost Cutlas with ROC in both cases), 2 server crashes, 1 bed logoff because server crash made ROC unusable :( On the good side - after bed logon I spawned near previously half-mined Hadanit cluster and even was able to gather already fractured Hadanite. But after that anyway was disconnect and I lost everything.
Ugh...this has been the bane of my existence when ROC mining. I had a great session over about an hour and a half having collected about 250K in Hadanite. As I'm driving the ROC back into my MSR, the server crashed and I lost everything (except the armor and tools on my person, which was odd). I was horrified. But, then that's Star Citizen in Alpha. You just get used to it. At least it's not like the old days a handful of years ago when you were lucky to be able to mine anything with a ROC. SMH
@@CasaBLACK I kinda gave up - there is a video "Star Citizen | 3.23.1 Roc Mining | Is It Still Viable?" by warglesnargle from 11 days ago that explains pretty well my problem. He can't find a deposit for over an hour. Then only one. I kept flying and scanning for an hour today, the gem deposits just never appear.
Having problems seeing the clusters as only the unknown little circles was showing up in my scans, no distance and no central marker. In 3 hours only found 2 clusters of Dolvine. Hopefully this vid will help tonight.
I was having an easy yime mining hadanite but all of a sudden I cant find any. Ive probably spent over an hour scanning for hadanite but I only get big rocks and other materials
@@CasaBLACK aberdeen. Went up to the OM and traveled to the sunny side to mine in the sun and found nothing but dolevine or larger rocks that need the prospector

Thank you for this, makes sense!
im not sure if this is correct. i spent hours scanning and came across a 3720 so excited for hadanite and low and behold my ugly step sister dolvine
@@evansmith7718i guess it has changed since the last update, i hardly finde anything at all

The numbers are super helpful; I feel like I fly around trying to find unknowns more than I do actually mining whenever I try this.

@@CasaBLACK only question I have is what are the steps to selling it?
I played last year and I'm having a hard time finding rocks, sweet up to date tutorial, thx.
This should get you up and running.
I have spent 3 hydrogen tamos indo my cutlass Black and could nota fundo nota even a single hadanyte spot in aberdeen
That's a guide where they don't tell you the most important thing-where to sell it. 👏
5:10 I think you mean meters bro
Anyway this helped a ton thanks!
lol thx for the catch!

Sometimes it can be. I lost 3 mining jobs I had put into a Cat.

Great Job Mate ^^ ty
I'll try it out now - I spent half an hour scanning yesterday and only found large boulders
Yeah give it a try, I do not have any issues finding small stuff.

how do you sell the hadanite?
Any outpost on the planets and moons. Some are called Shubin Mining Facility or Arc Corp Mining Outpost etc.
