Beta was leaps and bounds superior to VHS. I still have tapes that look as good as the day I recorded them 30 years ago. SONY was greedy with the licensing fees. SONY had VHS, but sold it off. ZWave charges more as well.
The power monitoring takes a little bit of time to get readings that can be used. I don't remember how long it took on my switch when I first connected it, but it was at least 15 minutes.
Nice video, looking forward to checking out your channel more! Question for you: I'm getting very inconsistent events from the switch. For example, I'd like to "When the UP button is pressed, ..." but I do not receive that event very regularly (Probably less than half the time). I have better luck with listening to the switch on/off events, but that's not ideal, because I want to take different actions based on the number of clicks. Have you run into any problems like this? I'm using Home Assistant and ZHA. Automations do not work consistently in Node RED or in plain HA automations. Again, appreciate the video!
Working great! I still only have 1 switch because I haven't had time to order and install more, but it's still my favorite switch on the market. The only switch I might like better at this point is the new Lutron Caseta Diva, but I'm not willing to use Lutron's proprietary protocol and hub that doesn't interoperate with anything.
Industry backing. It's an inferior tech imo, but ZigBee is easier for companies to control devices. Echo for example is zigbee only. Seems like the tide has turned.

IOL. Instant on lighting…. From the movie Arthur, it was a selling point of the apartment Arthur moved into when he got cut off… That was a laff 40 yrs ago, but now i wish my dang smart switches had IOL!!! Thx for the video. I just received my 10 pack today.

I haven't tried that but I know you can't use zero delay with two button click events. Do you have that set?

Does it complete shut off power to the light or just turn off illumination? Looking for a switch for smart bulbs.
