If you have a problem getting the cushions/pads wet with the base station on first use, you must use a syringe and inject 10ml to prime the pump at the water intake in the base station, below from the clean water tank. This allows the pump to start and then it works. It is also necessary to set the water volume to the maximum on MI HOME. This method works for DREAME L10S ULTRA, XIAOMI MIJIA OMNI B101CN, XIAOMI MIJIA X10+ B101GB

I unboxed the Xiaomi X10+ yesterday and had the same issue with the water system, and I couldn't find any information online about this issue. After seeing this comment, I tried it and it worked after a few trials. Adding 10 ml didn't help, I tried, even more, but nothing worked until I added more water to the inlet and the water came out in the outlet hole in the bottom of the docking station. After seeing the water coming out, I tried again with the robot and it worked, the pump started to suck the water out of the tank.
I really don't understand Xiaomi how can they release a product like that, this is not a straightforward task and can't be performed or known by everyone.
They didn't mention it nowhere that this can happen, and how to solve it.

Shai Shmuel, I noticed you posted this 2 months ago. Was this issue a one-time issue, or do you need to regularly use the syringe?

@@vi25953 thanks for your helpful reply. I have a 2-level home. With only one base station, does this robot vacuum support two levels? When operating on the upper level, should I carry the base station to the upper level before commencing the run?
@@joshuachellew I have two floors house as well. You can carry the base to the upper floor if you'd like, but I think it's a lot of work. It has a function in the settings that you can activate in case you'd want the robot to skip the "cleaning pads" step, it's specially for occasions where the base is not available, like in your case, where you don't want to carry the base up.

Mops not getting wet i have filled the pump using a syringe as per comments found on videa and mop is up to high water and this still isnt working. There are no videos on actually how to insert water knto the pump so im insure if i am adding it to the right place. Can anyone help?

Yes, you can make schedules for every day and you can decide which rooms to vacuum or mop (or both).
Annoying is lack of multi floor map. I have 2 levels, 30 cm difference and I can't cover this with 1 X10+

Hello, the official statement is that Xiaomi's homemade cleaning solution must be used. I have not tried adding other brands of cleaning solution so far.

How to solve the network wifi frequent disconnection problem after software update ?
Should the robot clean the mop pads before starting the cleaning process?
My robot does not do that, also it mops without water every time I start the process.
Only after I cancel and take it to the base to clean the pads, then start the process again, it mops with water normally.

I fixed it by resetting it. This was the problem because I first measured the apartment without mop pads.

I just bought the X20 vacuum cleaner on 16 April 2024. Product design may be a very big issue as the device became faulty in less than a month. To add to the heartache will be the processes of the technical & support team … quite unthinkable for such a reputable Company. PLEASE STICK TO THE OLDER MODEL WITHOUT FRILL. So sad & deeply disappointed.
Return it and get your money back.

I think the dreamy w10 does a better job, has same issue with return to base but my ceramic titles are stainless clean and shinny. And just for the object function it's not worth it.
