Historically, Laos has been known as the most bombed country on Earth, with more than two million tons of cluster bombs dropped on Laos during the Vietnam War, making it the most heavily bombed country in history per capita. Across Laos, families risk their lives each day as unexploded bombs, which have the power to kill or cause horrific injuries, lurk unseen beneath the ground.

Most underrated country in southeast Asian. I like the low vide and real authentic cultures and folks are very nice and kind hearted people

Completely agree, people would go way out of their way to help anyone who asked. Our hotel owner helped this person who wasn't even staying at his hotel for about 20 minutes to exchange currency and book a train ticket. Very kind people!

Here what different between lao and Thailand in laos political is suck but laotion people must more friendly and peaceful than Thailand specially Southern Thailand I saw a lots people has hard time to live and a lot issue
