Hi Richard,I just wanted to thank you for sharing the knowledge and skills, experience etc that you have attained through your rock carving career.I have binge watched loads of your videos going back 3 years, liked and have learnt some invaluable tips thank you from across the pond👍😊
That is correct. However, when tying steel sharp ends are usually spliced together quickly to keep shaping steel. I do bevel all the cut pipes on my tube and clamp scaffold and for that very reason you just stated, lacerations are no fun!! We love grinders especially the battery operated ones because it expedites production! I remember using bolt cutters at height, to much potential for an accident and injury!!
I also like the fact that this simple trick solves several potential accidents, slipping while using rebar cutters, dropping something on someone and carrying those dam things around, we don't even use hand held rebar cutters anymore.

My absolute pleasure, thanks so much for the kind words and very happy new year to you and your family! Thanks again
Solved one problem and created another......That is a sharp ass end. Never use a grinder. Bolt cutters dont create a hazard that requires stitches.
