I wonder if the character, Hugo inspired the character Schultz of "Hogan's Heroes"? A lot of similarities. Really like this fast-paced, humorous crime dramedy. As well it displays the fact that the press has and continues to OVERLY influence how we are governed.
I don't know how or what, but Richard Pryor bears a resemblance to the lead actor in this movie. From the long, lanky legs, to the eyes, face and humor. Thanks for the movie, enjoyed the acting and always love Shultzy. He was one gifted comedian. And this was before the type casting of a comedic nazi soldier. I know nothing!!
Love these old black and white films…TCM rules 👍👌💯
Thank you CCC, I am looking forward to this film 🎥 very much appreciated 👍
Love Heather, have seen most of her movies 👍🏻👍🏻 Thank You
Well as often happens RL intervened, & I missed the Live, again. Only bonus to that is I can watch this full-screen.
I don't understand why Roger Pryor didn't become a bigger star than he was. He had it all.
